· Rigid trucks are now available in the 1.61 update (Experimental Beta) of Euro Truck Simulator 2.
· This setup is free and easy to install.
· Rigid trucks are suitable for local deliveries and urban logistics, while conventional articulated trailers excel in long-haul transport. The choice depends on player preference.

· Two mods are required to use rigid trucks: the Swap Body System add-on and the Rigid Trailer add-on. Download links for both mods are provided in the description.
· After installing the mods, the most crucial step is setting the correct load order. An incorrect load order can cause rigid trailers to not display or function properly. Follow the exact load order shown in the video.
· Weather mods or lighting add-ons are not related to rigid truck functionality and can be used optionally for visual enhancements.

· After enabling the mods, access the game and load your profile.
· Navigate to the Truck Dealer menu and open the 'Mod Dealer'.
· The current rigid truck mod supports multiple trucks; we'll use a DAF truck as an example.
· You can customize the truck as desired or purchase it with the default settings.
· After purchasing or selecting it as your current truck, proceed to the next step.

· Go to the Job Market from the Cargo Market.
· Be aware that not all cargo is compatible with the rigid trailer system.
· It's recommended to select standard cargo types like box trailers or curtain siders.
· Avoid jobs that use special trailers such as low loaders, heavy haul, or agricultural machinery transport. These trailers are designed for articulated trucks.

· Upon arriving at the pickup location, do not collect the trailer immediately.
· Instead, select the job and use the 'Select Trailer' option. This is key to how rigid trucks operate.
· On the trailer selection screen, scroll down to find the small rigid trailers or swap body trailers added by the mod.
· Select the desired rigid trailer and confirm.

· Enter the loading zone and carefully reverse.
· When connecting the trailer, a unique connection animation plays, unlike with standard trailers.
· This realistic connection process makes the rigid truck driving experience more immersive.
· Once connected, you can start driving as you would with any other delivery.

· Compared to conventional articulated trailers, rigid trucks are much shorter and easier to maneuver.
· Turning at intersections becomes simpler, and city driving is more comfortable.
· Parking is easier, giving you the feel of driving a real local delivery truck.
· These advantages are why many players have eagerly awaited rigid trucks.

· Upon reaching your destination, park in the unloading area.
· Detach the trailer and complete the delivery.
· Collect your reward, just like with any other cargo job.

· This rigid truck setup only works with the 1.61 update Experimental Beta version of Euro Truck Simulator 2.
· It is not yet available in the stable version, so you must switch your game to the Experimental Beta.
· Currently, this feature is implemented based on mods and is in its early stages.

· It is expected that more developers will utilize new features to improve mods in the future.
· There's also a possibility that SCS Software will officially support rigid trucks.
