· Shot Coverage Feedback clearly shows the quality of each contest through an 8-tiered color-coded system.
· For each shot attempt, defenders who contributed to the Defensive Impact score light up a portion of a new Defensive Impact indicator below the shooter.
· The stronger the impact, the warmer the color of the indicator.
· Weak contests are represented by a small white arc, while strong contests are shown as a larger red arc.

· 2K27 introduces a revamped Takeover system featuring five categories that can be activated individually or all at once.
· The categories for Shooting, Finishing, Playmaking, Defense, and Rebounding are tracked independently throughout the game.
