'Crystalline Conflict Limit Breakers Pre-Season' is the first official Korean tournament for the 5v5 PvP content 'Crystalline Conflict', which was newly introduced in V6.1 'New Adventure'. The tournament name 'Limit Breakers' contains the meaning of competition among Korean adventurers who achieve victory through challenges that transcend limitations by utilizing the powerful 'Limit Break' skills for each job.
The first official Korean tournament, 'Crystalline Conflict Limit Breakers Pre-Season', is a tournament with a total prize pool of 11 million KRW. The winning team will receive 5 million KRW in prize money, the runner-up team will receive 3 million KRW, and the semi-finalist teams will also receive a commemorative plaque and the 'Ronkan Water Serpent Parasol' item. The 16 teams selected from the online ranking preliminary round will receive a 'Limit Breakers' tournament commemorative badge as a gift.
Starting with the online ranking preliminary round from July 11th to 24th, the 16 teams that pass the preliminary round will participate in a closed offline final round in a best-of-three tournament match format at a PC cafe in the Seoul area on August 12th. In particular, the teams that pass the finals and succeed in reaching the top 4 will participate in the finals, which will be broadcast live from a special event venue in the Seoul area on September 16th, and will engage in a fierce battle for the final victory.
Applications for participation in the 'Crystalline Conflict Limit Breakers Pre-Season' preliminary round can be made through the official website from today until the 3rd of next month, and anyone with a 'Final Fantasy XIV' account can participate by forming a team of up to 6 people.
Meanwhile, Actoz Soft has prepared an event to commemorate the holding of the first official Korean PvP tournament for 'Final Fantasy XIV', in which players who achieve certain conditions in the PvP content 'Crystalline Conflict' during the event period will receive a 'Sailor Suit Set' as a gift.
Actoz Soft's Producer Choi Jeong-hae said, "I am deeply moved to be holding this official PvP tournament for the first time since the Korean service launch. This tournament also has great significance as it signifies a new beginning and challenge for 'Final Fantasy XIV', so we will strive to develop it into a regular event that many adventurers can enjoy together in the future, so please continue to show your interest."
PC MMORPG 'Final Fantasy XIV', which celebrated its 8th anniversary of Korean service this year, announced the news of the new V6.3 'Gods Revel, Lands Tremble' update at the 42nd Letter Live held on the 27th, and is receiving a lot of attention.
