Nexon (CEO Lee Jung-hun) announced that the second preseason of the regular e-sports competition 'KartRider: Drift League (KDL)' for the global multi-platform racing game 'KartRider: Drift' will begin on the 17th.

KDL Preseason 2, with a total prize pool of 100 million KRW, will be held every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at 6 PM KST at the Vita500 Afreeca Colosseum until July 23rd, and will be broadcast live on the league's official YouTube channel and other platforms. Through this Preseason 2, players can once again check their skills ahead of the regular league, which kicks off in September.

In the team competition, 'Kwangdong Freecs', the winning team of Preseason 1, has maintained its winning roster. It remains to be seen whether the runner-up team, 'Liiv SANDBOX', can fill the void left by 'InSoo (Park In-soo)' and 'SeungHa (Jeong Seung-ha)' with their newly recruited 'ByungSu (Go Byung-su)' and 'Daldda (Hong Seung-min)'. Meanwhile, in the individual competition, attention is focused on whether 'HoJun (Moon Ho-jun)', who remained in the Round of 32 in the previous Preseason 1, will be able to show a good performance.

The opening match will begin with the team competition quarterfinal match between 'Seongnam Rox', the only team with a 6-man roster among the 8 teams, and 'Showtime', which advanced through fierce preliminaries. Along with this, 'Kwangdong Freecs' will face 'Potential' in the second match of the team competition quarterfinals, and in Group A of the individual competition Round of 32, 8 players including Cool (Lee Jae-hyuk) and NEAL (Liu Chang Heng), who won Preseason 1, are preparing to compete.

Nexon will provide 'Nexon Cash' and 'Lucci' to visitors who visit the site during the Preseason 2 period, and will additionally present 5,000 KRW of 'Nexon Cash' and 5,000 'Lucci' to the opening match and finals.
