SteelSeries (CEO: Ehtisham Rabbani), the world's first gaming gear brand, has signed an official partnership with the Korean esports team Nongshim RedForce (Nongshim Esports Co., Ltd., CEO: Oh Ji-hwan) for the second consecutive year.

SteelSeries first partnered with Nongshim RedForce in June 2022 and has been supporting them since then. With the extension of this year's partnership, they will be with Nongshim RedForce for the second year in a row.

Through this partnership, SteelSeries will provide Nongshim RedForce with its entire product line, including premium gaming keyboards, mice, headsets, and mouse pads. In addition, they will continue to work closely in marketing areas such as online and offline events, promotions, and live streaming.

The 'Nongshim RedForce' team is the team that won the runner-up in the '2022 LCK Challengers League' Spring and the championship in the Summer season. All of the players who were active in the second team in 2022 were called up to the first team. Currently, they recorded a victory in the opening match of the '2023 LCK Champions Korea' Summer Split regular league, and are attracting attention as a team with a promising future.

In particular, top laner 'Dread' Park Geun-woo, who led the team to victory with excellent play in the summer of the '2022 LCK Challengers League' and was selected as MVP, used SteelSeries premium gaming gear 'Aerox 9 Wireless Mouse', 'Apex Pro TKL WL (2023) Keyboard', 'Arctis Nova 7X Headset', and 'QcK Heavy XXL Mousepad' to show excellent performance.

Oh Ji-hwan, CEO of Nongshim RedForce, said, "I am honored to be able to join hands with the premium gaming gear brand SteelSeries again this year following last year." "This year, we will create synergy effects through various collaborations with the best gaming gear brand SteelSeries, and become Nongshim RedForce that can repay fans with even better results."

SteelSeries is an original esports brand and has been building partnerships with leading esports pro teams around the world. In addition to Nongshim RedForce, SteelSeries sponsors various esports teams such as T1, Atlanta FaZe, Red Bull OG, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports, SpaceStation, and Rare Atom, and maintains close partnerships beyond sponsorships. In addition, the Diablo Ⅳ limited edition was officially released in Korea in June to commemorate the launch of Diablo Ⅳ, and is receiving explosive responses from Diablo and SteelSeries fans.

Lee Hye-kyung, head of SteelSeries Korea, said, "We are pleased to be able to further expand our contact with domestic game fans and contribute to the development of the domestic esports industry through the partnership with Nongshim RedForce for the second consecutive year." "We will become SteelSeries that shares Nongshim RedForce's 'glory of victory' this year through generous support."
