'Tek' Lee Eun-taek, "I wanted to give 'Runing' a 6:0 victory"
Aura achieved a complete victory against Seraphic in the 'KartRider Drift League (KDL)' Preseason 2 Quarterfinals Match 4 held at the Vita500 Colosseum in Jamsil on the 18th. Aura demonstrated the dignity of the strongest amateur team by winning both Speed and Item races 3:0 on this day.
The following is the full interview with item ace 'Tact' Lee Eun-taek.
Q. What are your thoughts on the victory?
The opponents are also amateurs like us, but we decided to play the game thinking of them as a pro team. So I think the team members worked hard in each round. 'Runing' Hong Seong-min said that he had never done 6:0 before. I didn't show it, but I really wanted to make it 6:0.
Q. You finished last season in 3rd place, what is your goal for this season?
We finished last season in 3rd place, but the members have gotten better, so our goal for this season is to win.
Q. It definitely feels like the speed race has become stronger than last season with the recruitment of 'Runing' Hong Seong-min.
Seong-min is the youngest, so he hasn't fully adapted to the team yet. Still, he jokes around a lot to get closer to his older brothers. He's doing a little better than before, so if he's given more time, I think he'll be able to show a perfect performance.
Q. You said your goal is to win, how would you express your confidence right now?
If I only talk about item battles, we've beaten all seven teams last season, and we're confident this season as well. All the teams are following the meta that we're doing. So I think we have a slight advantage. Still, we are always trying not to be complacent.
Q. Last season was the magnet + booster (magnet booster) meta. What about this item war?
Although there are fewer compared to last season, it often ends up being a magnet booster meta. There are a lot of attack items out now, so there are a lot of variables in the middle line. I think the difference is how quickly you draw the framework of the game.
Q. Which team do you think is the competition?
The item battle competition team is Sensation. They're doing well this time. If not Sensation, then Liiv SANDBOX is currently doing well in item battles.
Q. What is the last thing you want to say?
The day before, Level Up GG PC Cafe provided a practice environment. Thanks to that, I ate a lot of delicious food and practiced comfortably. I think I was in good condition, so I was able to achieve a perfect victory. I want to say thank you so much.
