Fierce survival competition... Which team went straight to the #17 Final Stage?
In the Eternal Return Masters Open #17 team match survival stage held online on the 16th, 6 teams, 'FRESH MAN', 'Fire', 'MoLu', 'Igloo', 'Family', and 'cleanguard', succeeded in advancing to the final round. The remaining teams will compete for the last two final tickets in the wildcard match.
The survival stage consists of 6 rounds. The 9 seeded teams start from round 1, and the first-place team in each round goes directly to the final. The vacant spots are filled by the qualifying teams in order of ranking, and the 8 teams excluding the winning teams from rounds 1 to 6 and the 6th place qualifying team will advance to the wildcard match.
Round 1, in which the seeded teams 'Fire', 'newclear', 'FRESH MAN', 'Family', 'Seoul Game Academy', 'Ereup', 'MoLu', 'Igloo', and 'cleanguard' participated. The first to secure a spot in the finals was 'FRESH MAN'. 'FRESH MAN' grew rapidly by eliminating the threatening 'newclear' first, and took first place by taking advantage of the battle between other teams in the final restricted area.
'Fire' won in round 2. 'Fire', who enjoyed the early engagement with 'newclear' as well as the late engagement, easily won the engagement with 'MoLu'. On the other hand, the fight between 'Family' and 'Happy Cat' that took place above took quite a while, and thanks to this, 'Fire', who took the restricted area timer much more advantageously, laughed in the last battle.
In the following round 3, 'Family' showed off their presence by scoring a whopping 8 kills, but lost in the engagement with 'newclear', who had grown in farming. 'newclear' was also surprised by 'Happy Cat' during the battle and was eliminated, and in the process, 'HC_gwork's Laura matched 6 legends. However, in the last fight with 'MoLu', they were defeated by 'ML_Unibell' Natapon's super play and had to give up the victory.
The winners of rounds 4 and 5 were 'Igloo' and 'Family' respectively. In round 4, 'Igloo', who succeeded in acquiring both Omega and Wickline, survived the restricted area battle, and won the final battle with 'Family'. 'Family', who missed first place right in front of their eyes, completely washed away their disappointment by taking the fifth final ticket in the next round.
Last round 6. 'cleanguard' and 'Ereup' were the teams that stood out from the beginning. The two teams, who were steadily accumulating kill points with aggressive play, faced each other at the hotel on the night of the 4th day, and 'cleanguard', who was ahead in the composition, boldly opened the engagement and succeeded in breaking through each individual in an instant. 'cleanguard' also won unilaterally in the last fight and boarded the last train to the finals.
