This time, our Team CSL has prepared this project for a whopping 5 months!!

We believed that the Bubble Head Nurse's presence becomes more overwhelming when there are multiple of them, so we gathered 5 models with difficulty to proceed with the project.

The 5 models above put in a lot of effort.

The entire model team participated with their own personal expenses, and this Silent Hill project is full of sincerity, with costumes, props, and backgrounds all self-made!

I'll briefly show you the preparation process.

◆ Mask ◆

The Bubble Head Nurse, a creature from Silent Hill, has a face with details of bubbles swelling and partially rotting.

To express this, we made masks for each model by taking face molds with plaster gauze.

Using this face mold as a base, we used aluminum foil to round out the face, applied skin latex on top to create a skin-like texture, and then colored it with cosmetics.

We tried to create a skin-like feel with the lightest and cheapest materials possible.

Since it's a creature without eyes, nose, or mouth, the mouth is completely blocked, and only minimal eye and nose holes are drilled.

◆ Skin Head ◆

The Bubble Head Nurse is bald and has no ears.

So, we create a skin head that covers the ears as well.

The models suffered a lot during the shoot, as their eyes, nose, mouth, and ears were all blocked.

◆ Costume ◆

The Bubble Head Nurse's nurse uniform has a skin-like feel, and the outfit, including the hat, has a form that seems integrated with the body.

To express this feeling, we made hidden buttons on a leather fabric with a similar feel to skin so that the buttons are not visible, and the lining and outer fabric are glued together and then finished by cutting the ends irregularly.

On top of this made costume, we put more skin-like details with glue and color it with cosmetics.

The entire costume was colored with cosmetics to give it a feeling of being integrated with the body.

◆ Knife ◆

We bought a plastic knife, sharpened the blade, filled the holes, and then painted it.

We painted it by dabbing acrylic paint with a sponge to capture the corroded metal feel unique to Silent Hill, and then finished it with urethane varnish.

◆ Background ◆

Finally, the background that took the most time and money in this project.

All project members suffered a lot because of this 13-pyeong (approx. 430 sq ft) background.

We wanted to capture the unique atmosphere of Silent Hill, so we looked for various filming locations, but we couldn't find a suitable filming location, so we ended up making it ourselves.

To reduce costs, we attached paper to hardboard, made holes, and then colored it with acrylic paint.

We fix the background made in this way with a tacker.

This is the set that was completed after suffering.

Since one side of the wall had to be constantly supported by a person, the supporters had to support the wall throughout the filming.

We tried to create a story based on the setting that the Bubble Head Nurse reacts to light and sound, and tried to express bizarre movements.

This is a video about the cosplay preparation process.

The makeup process and filming process are shown briefly, so please enjoy it.

The photos below are cosplay photos.

The models had a really hard time filming without taking off their masks even once, as they couldn't hear well, had difficulty speaking, couldn't see well, and could barely breathe throughout the filming.

It seems like it was the hardest shoot ever, including the models and supporters.

It seems to be a meaningful work as the project members all worked together to proceed.
