[Legendary Weapon Crafting Tips and Review]

[Legendary Weapon Crafting Tips and Review]

[Before we begin]

Hello, it feels like it hasn't been long since I wrote the Season 3 guide, but I've already crafted a legendary weapon and reached item level 488.Self-graduation is approaching!

I was lucky enough to craft the legendary weapon a bit early, and I struggled a bit with parts that weren't in the guide, so I'm going to share some minor tips and reviews of the parts I struggled with.

[Legendary Weapon Acquisition and Bad Luck Protection]

Information about bad luck protection and how to acquire the legendary weapon is based on speculation without accurate information, so I'm writing based only on my experience.

I'm playing Warrior on both my main and alt characters, and I got it on my main first.

Before the legendary drop, I got Lesser Embers:

Week 1: Heroic 4 / Mythic 0 (Actually, I couldn't go to Mythic at all this week... It was a Tuesday raid, but I thought it was Wednesday and didn't show up;ㅁ;)

Week 2: Heroic 4 / Mythic 1

Week 3: Heroic 1

I got a total of 10, and from the point I got 10, Lesser Embers strangely stopped dropping. (I got the last Lesser Ember from Igira in Heroic 2nd boss this week and didn't get any from Fyrakk) It could just be that my luck ran out, or maybe the bosses refused to give Lesser Embers because I collected all the possible drop chances lol

I got 3 Greater Embers (Heroic in Week 1 (applied to all lower stages), Heroic in Week 2 (applied to all lower stages), and the legendary quest item dropped after defeating the Heroic final boss with LFR applied in Week 3.

*** To add a little more chatter, the reason I went to LFR first this week was because my goal was not to efficiently collect bad luck protection items, but to get the legendary axe this week. Even if you only defeat Heroic Fyrakk, it combines with all the LFR bad luck protection items (so if the goal is to collect bad luck protection items, you only need to defeat Heroic), but if you want to get the legendary from Heroic Fyrakk this week, I thought it would be good to 'kill' Fyrakk with the probability increased by 1% with LFR. (As you know, bad luck protection items can be dropped and used after the Heroic Fyrakk kill, so ironically, it doesn't increase the drop rate of that kill.)

When I defeated it, I saw another Death Knight in the raid get the legendary quest item, so it seems that it's not limited to only 1 drop, but it comes out without a quantity limit if the probability is right. This also means that if you steadily collect bad luck protection items, everyone will get the legendary quest item in no time!

My alt missed out on Greater/Lesser Embers in the first week because I went on Thursday morning, so it currently has 5 Lesser Embers applied. I think I'll get a sense of the probability when I see when it comes out.

[Quest After Acquisition]

I completed all the quests in about 6 hours of playtime after receiving the quest. Even if I ate, rested, and played in between, it's about a day's worth of work.

However, I would like to emphasize that it is much faster to do it with multiple people than alone, and if you apply the tips in this article, you will be able to shorten the time a little more. As I have gained know-how, I think I can finish it in about 4 hours when I do it with my alt.

The legendary quest starting item comes into your inventory in the form of a weapon as soon as you kill Fyrakk. When you equip it, you will enter a temporary stunned state with the message 'You have obtained Fyr'alath the Dreamrender!', and then it will be unequipped and the quest will be given.

The starting quest is to find the NPC in the corner of Thaldraszus, and from this point on, Fyr'alath is stored in your bag in the form of a quest item, not a weapon.

The questline is divided into 3 parts:[Playing in the Emerald Dream],[Playing in Valdrakken], [Personal Scenario]I think it will be divided like this.

[Quest Part 1: Playing in the Emerald Dream]

[Playing in the Emerald Dream] requires a total of 3 types of quests for enchanting, inscription, and embellishment to be carried out in the Emerald Dream.

[Enchanting]The quest is to break down about 20 Season 3 Heroic (purple) items using the quest item. It's the easiest because you can buy gloves from the Emerald Dream reputation quartermaster for 300 resources and break them down. If you have any leftover items in your bag, you can break them down. There is a cooldown, so if you break them down whenever you have time, it's over. It's the easiest part, so I didn't even check how many there were..Without thinkingI think I broke down 5 more gloves even after the quest was completed.. I had a quest item left in my bag, so I had to 'destroy it now'.

[Inscription]The quest is to use the quest item (which casts a debuff) in your bag on the Emerald Dream's Rare Elite and Elite, and then collect 50 materials that they give you when you catch them.

**You can only cast the debuff in a non-combat state, and you can only get the quest item if you cast the debuff. It seems that about 1~4 come out regardless of Elite/Rare Elite.

**It also comes out from the final boss of Superbloom. Before the boss pops up, I recommend that you create distance in advance when the wave of adds pours out, release combat, cast the debuff, and catch them.

**You can't use it on field bosses or LFR bosses. I tried it.. I wasted time..

**Whether it's an Elite with 15 million HP or a Rare Elite with 2 million HP, they give the same 1~4 quest items, so you don't have to catch the time-consuming Elite. If you have a rare mob tracking addon, you can install it and fly around the Emerald Dream, but there is a better way.

**The tip is to use 'Emerald Frenzy'. Emerald Frenzy, which is marked with two yellow swords on the map, is activated. (It is activated to avoid Superbloom time, so it is activated at about 31 minutes every hour.) After about 5 minutes of activation, a Rare Elite that looks like a large carnivorous plant pops up in the center of the Frenzy area. This friend is judged as a Rare Elite, so it gives 1~4 quest items. And if you loot the corpse normally, it respawns in 1~2 minutes! (Moreover, Emerald Frenzy is all non-aggressive mobs except for one boss, so it is very easy to proceed with the quest)

** Therefore, during Superbloom time, run Superbloom, get the quest item from the final boss, and at other times, don't bother searching for Elite/Rare Elite and get the quest item from the infinitely respawning Rare Elite in the Frenzy area. If you do this, you can collect 50 quest items in about 2 hours.

[Embellishment]The quest is to get 200 Shadowed Dreamleaf from Superbloom. You get 2~4 from the Dream Pouches that give you a percentage when you do Superbloom, and about 10 from the boss. If you do it alone, even if you get the 8000-point Epic Dream Pouch every time, you get about 20 per run, so you have to do a total of 10 Superbloom... which means you have to do it for at least 10 hours. But there is also a tip for this.

**You can run the first Superbloom alone.(You can't give the quest to party members if you run together because you don't have the quest starting item) When you run Superbloom alone, you get 1 blue Dreamleaf item that can give the quest to party members from the Dream Pouch. Since the final boss also drops it, you can get at least 3~4 from the first Superbloom. If you use this quest item well, you can complete the quest in 3 Superbloom.

**It is better to recruit a party from the second Superbloom. Before starting Superbloom, I recommend that you create a full party and give the quest to your party members with the quest item you got earlier. If the party member completes 100% of the quest by starting Superbloom from the beginning to the boss kill with the quest received, the quest is completed. (If you didn't do it from the beginning, you have to do Superbloom twice)

**I asked my guild members to help me with alts that they don't use often (so there is less need to leave the party). I would like to take this opportunity to thank ReXXXX, XXXXXXPXPPX, 성X사, and 요X쎄X for helping me figure out where the quest item comes from and how to give the buff, as there was no accurate information.

**After the party member completes 100% of the quest, go to Gasa at Ohn'ahran Plains and complete the quest, and a buff item will be added to your bag. If you use this buff item on the quest person, the Dreamleaf acquisition amount will increase by 50% up to 200%.After that, it's okay for the party member to log out, but if they leave the party, the buff disappears!!!

** If the quest person proceeds with Superbloom in this full buff 200% state, 100~150 leaves will come out per Superbloom run. (65 leaves will come out from the final boss alone. 23 were automatically looted at the time of the kill, and 43 were directly looted) Since you will have collected at least 30 leaves by running the first 2 runs, you can complete the quest with 1 Superbloom if you're lucky, or 2 if you're unlucky in the full buff state.

If you play in the Emerald Dream for about 3 hours like this, the first part of the quest is over. If you complete only the second part of the quest, the legendary weapon is just around the corner.

[Quest Part 2: In ValdrakkenHanging outwith friends]

For the second part [Playing in Valdrakken], it is generally easier to get help from acquaintances.

First of all, it starts with work orders.

If you complete the first part of the quest, the NPC will give you a blueprint to make the quest item. There are 3 blueprints for enchanting/embellishment/inscription, and it seems that the skill level doesn't matter. (Even if it's not 1 million skill, you can learn it and make it)

The necessary materials are as follows.

Erden's Touch [Leatherworking]

400 Zaqali Glowspores

3 Obsidian Cobraskin

5 Dreaming Essence

50 Bogstrok Hide

Lyidia's Rune [Inscription]

10 Shadowflame Essence

250 Cosmic Ink

50 Runic Ink Cage

Salazaar's Bile [Enchanting]

150 Awakened Fire

100 Awakened Earth

50 Awakened Order

200 Resonant Crystal

I collected the materials in advance, so I made them right away, but the current auction house price seems to be 70~800k gold. The Awakened series + Resonant Crystal costs a lot of money, and even more will be spent in the quest that will be described later, so you should get enough.

If you have all the materials, find an Inscriptionist/Enchanter/Leatherworker in Valdrakken, click on the blueprint in your bag to teach them (the casting time is a bit long), and then place a work order as you always have.

*** I would like to thank SilXs again for helping me with the work orders by mobilizing all my alts.

[Please engrave the name of the material maker on the legendary weapon!!]I'm engraving it here because you shouted.

If you have completed all the work orders, start the quest with Leatherworking.

[Leatherworking]The quest is to burn to death every time you use the quest item in your bag... I pressed it without thinking and ended up doing a one-person flame demonstration in front of the Valdrakken auction house. It wasn't meant to protest capitalism and gold pots...

To avoid burning to death, you can complete the Flame Retardant Oil quest and apply the oil (some thieves ask for 100 Zaqali Glowspores to make one Flame Retardant Oil. Even that is consumable, so you need 400 Glowspores to make it 4 times), but it is much better to recruit a healer.

You start burning as soon as you press it, and you burn 10% each time, so you burn 10 times in total. You have to scream and beg your healer to save you. My healer sometimes chuckled and stopped healing for a while. It's a trap that you really feel like you're burning when your HP reaches 5%...

If you keep burning and dying in front of the Valdrakken bank, people will look at you and wonder what kind of fire show this is. Of course, you don't have to worry because the tomb is close even if you die because the heal is cut off. Even if you die, the quest doesn't fail (I've died).

Thank you to the carry heal DruXde for helping me complete the quest. But after I completed the quest and said goodbye, I pressed it again by mistake and burned to death again..... The pile of bones in front of the inn is me.

[Enchanting]The quest is a bit fun, when you press the quest item in your bag, the user scatters flames in all directions. (5 minute cooldown) If you pick up this flame before it falls to the ground, an extra bar will be created and you will consume 10 random Awakened series (Frost, Fire, Earth, Wind) to exchange it for a quest item. If you use this quest item again on the quest person, the quest will fill up by 5% each time...

So you have to do it once every 5 minutes because of the quest item cooldown, so it takes at least 100 minutes, usually about 150 minutes because you miss a few times.. In addition, 200 more Awakened series are added! It's random what goes in! (I bought 100 of each and proceeded, and then gave the leftovers to the people who helped me)

But the tip for this quest is that you can finish it in about 4~5 times if you do it with people you know. (I don't know if the legendary weapon is only for insiders... If you don't have acquaintances, the road to hardship opens up... Extremely difficult if you don't know anyone.) For reference,You can proceed even if you're in a raid, and the trick of riding a flying mount and waiting in advance on the flame doesn't work lol (I've tried this too)

The quest person holds the quest item (Bile) and casts it in the center (without moving), and the participants who have formed a raid run around in all directions and catch the flame. You can catch up to 7~8 people at once, so it fills up quickly! We proceeded in the direction of the person who caught it giving me a trade and telling me the Awakened series I needed, and then giving them the buff! If 20 people proceed, it will fill up 100% if you cast it about 3 times ㅎㅎ

At first, I was going to proceed with one party of about 5 people, but it became a guild festival and about 20 people gathered on a rooftop in Valdrakken and enjoyed a fun guild event lol The Obsidian Enclave rooftop behind the auction house is the perfect range. I am sincerely grateful to everyone for running around so excitedly to catch the flame like a festival!

CrimsonXX who asked for 10 Awakened Order each...Order doesn't go in, you bad person, and Demon HunterXpl who said that the last 5% piece should be auctioned for 50k gold..ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Thanks to you, it was a very fun time with laughter. But I was scared that you were serious when you didn't fill the last 5%...

I would also like to sincerely thank PongkiPungki, who is a super flame-catching master and filled a total of 30% by himself, and WooXs / 수많은색의PXPPX, who made it a fun guild event.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank AoXtsuki, SiXwooXnoX, EXsen, and YolX, the icon of hope and dreams of the guild, who came even though everyone had a lot to do on Wednesday evening!

[Inscription]The quest is simple, just cast a non-combat debuff on [Gnarlroot], [Igira], and [Volcoross] like when you catch Elite. If you cast the debuff in a non-combat state, the quest is completed even if you accidentally die while catching them.

Usually, you do the Gnarlroot and Igira quests in LFR Zone 1, and Volcoross in Zone 2, but LFR Volcoross often starts with adds right away, so you may be stressed. It may be more comfortable to just go to a normal 1-tank party and complete it.

After the guild members finished the flame-catching festival, they said they would all go to LFR together, so it was very comfortable... I love my guild members, thank youI'll be a grateful magpie

[Quest Part 3: Scenario Participation]

When you complete this, the Heroic-grade quest items will change to Legendary-grade and you will do the final stage quest.

If you go to the Thaldraszus NPC that you brought the legendary axe to right after you got it, they will tell you to go to the Obsidian Forge to meet Wrathion. It's convenient if you have the Neltharus portal from Season 2 (it's far if you go by Gryphon) If you go, you'll fail to reforge the axe once, and Wrathion will tell you to complete it in Aberrus. Talk to Wrathion and enter Aberrus in the form of a scenario dungeon and defeat the Echo of Fyrakk to finish everything and receive the legendary axe.

There are no major difficulties or tips in the scenario part, but it is longer and more painful than I thought. I don't know if it scales, but even with item level 488, I thought I would die if I proceeded without paying attention. The format is to catch the adds that come out to charge Fyr'alath to 100%, and then use it to break the Echo of Fyrakk's shield and deal damage to the main body. You have to do AoE damage when catching adds and single damage when catching the Echo of Fyrakk to finish quickly. I broke the shield twice and caught it.

If you catch the boss, Wrathion will give you the legendary axe right away and this cutscene will come out ㅎㅎ

I think it's the server's first because it's a rural server, but this time the same server-wide message as Nasjuro doesn't pop up! It's a shame!

I remember making Shadowmourne incredibly fast with the help of guild members 13 years ago, and I'm happy to feel the same way now after a long time.

I see one grateful person who helped me with Shadowmourne and Fyr'alath! I didn't know he was such an annoying person 13 years ago.... I know it well now ㅋㅋㅋ (Thank you anyway!)

+++Extra

20-stage Altar of the Tides overall damage details and Fyr'alath's active effect percentage.... Even though I hardly used the active effect, the overall damage comes out satisfactorily because the passive effect damage increased instead. But what is 1% of the overall damage combined with the active effect...Even a Spiked Counterweight would be stronger than this...

[Fyr'alath - Dreamrender Review]

Fyr'alath deals damage separately with passive and active effects.

First of all, other people who made it said in their reviews that it comes out combined as 'Mark of Fyr'alath', but for some reason it is separated into 3 in the meter, and the 'Mark of Fyr'alath' damage is passive DoT damage, the 'Fyr'alath's Fury' damage is 4 hits after the charge, and the 'Explosive Fury' damage is counted as the final powerful 1 hit.

The passive DoT damage is just like wearing another A-grade trinket. It varies from dungeon to dungeon, but in about 18 stages, it comes out as 3~4% of the overall damage if the battle is short, and up to about 7% if the battle is a bit long. Paradoxically, the better the main body damage (the better the finger performance), the smaller the percentage of passive DoT damage. This effect is good, but I don't know if it's legendary. Of course, it's good just to wear it, because the damage increases by 10% compared to a 489 weapon including the weapon item level.

But more than the passive effect, the active effect is a bit ambiguous, so I stillI don't know how to use it.

The active effect eats GCD, has the same range as Charge, and 'flies'. (Judging by the fact that the damage doesn't come in even when the floor is laid in the middle, it seems to be similar to Fel Rush rather than Charge.) It pours damage around the landing point for 3 seconds, and this incapacitation time decreases very slightly and meaninglessly depending on Haste. (The 3 seconds are reduced to 2.5 seconds..)

But 1. Rage doesn't fill up and 2. You need to think about it because you can't even move, let alone use other skills during that time.

Since Critical Strike and Versatility are applied, it deals about 1 million damage based on 5 targets and 65~700k damage based on 1 target including the crit based on my stats. (Mastery is not applied, and Versatility and Critical Strike affect the damage.)

But in fact, 3 seconds is the time you can use Sudden Death + Rampage + Bloodthirst, so it's not that much of a benefit based on 5 targets. In the case of Enhanced Bloodthirst, it's really a burden on 5 targets considering Rage acquisition + Odyn's cooldown reduction due to Bloodthirst. It would be worth it to turn it around in between if Rage filled up. Moreover, since it eats up all the DoT damage caused by the passive effect the moment you use the active effect, it is right to judge it as damage loss in multi-target. (It's a 1 million gold legendary weapon... This kind of active effect is a bit too much.... Won't they buff it?)

Instead, it's worth using in single-target situations because the expected value of Slam + Enhanced Bloodthirst is lower than 60~700k damage.

So for now, let's assume that the active effect is almost for entertainment purposes, and use it like a high-item-level weapon with a trinket-level passive effect, but in single-target situations, when Recklessness and Dance are all on cooldown and Odyn is more than 10 seconds away + when it seems safe because the floor won't come up, use the active effect once in a while.

Of course, more research is needed, and I believe that real experts will find the right way to use it when they get the legendary weapon! So far, there are fewer cases of legendary weapons among the top rankers. Until then, I will try to find a way to use it more.

Then I hope everyone gets a legendary weapon! Bye!
