For 12 days, we're showcasing Dragonflight mounts you can acquire. The final day's mount is the Reins of the Reclaimed Dragon!
Today's mount is the second legendary mount in the game, and the grand finale of the 12 Days of Mounts series: the Reins of the Reclaimed Dragon!
This mount is very special, one that many players have been waiting for for almost 10 years. It's not a new model, but a transformation mount based on the legendary staff Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest, which could be obtained in Firelands during the Cataclysm era.
To acquire this mount, you must first complete the blue dragonflight questline in patch 10.1 where Kalecgos is reassembling his dragonflight, while in possession of Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest.
Once a character with Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa's Rest completes this questline, they can proceed with an additional quest regarding Tarecgosa's spirit. Through this, players will finally gain the ability to transform into the Tarecgosa mount without wielding the staff.
However, please note that while all characters on the account can see this mount in their collection, only the character who possesses the legendary staff and completes this quest can transform into Tarecgosa.
