Added Korean dubbing for live-action 'One Piece' with the original anime voice actors
The live-action series of the most popular manga, 'One Piece,' which garnered much attention even before its release, has officially added Korean dubbing on Netflix.
The official Netflix One Piece channel announced the addition of new dubbing languages for the TV series 'One Piece' through SNS. In particular, Korean was confirmed as an added dubbing language along with Comprehensive Arabic, Mandarin, Malay, Romanian, Dutch, Portuguese, Greek, etc.
After the official announcement that day, a 'Dubbing Added' icon was newly attached to the TV series 'One Piece' on the Netflix site. In addition, users can now select Korean audio to watch the show.
Along with the official announcement of the language addition, Netflix also released dubbing sketches of the 5 main cast members of the Straw Hat Crew who appeared in the series. The voice actors revealed include Kang Su-jin for Luffy, Jung Mi-sook for Nami, Kim Seung-jun for Zoro, Kim So-hyung for Usopp, and Kim Young-sun for Sanji, all of whom are familiar to domestic fans through the anime and reprised their original roles.
Through the sketch video, you can preview the dubbing scenes of the actors along with the appearance of live-action characters with Korean voices added.

This addition of dubbing languages seems to be the result of the successful run of Season 1 and Netflix's continued investment in the One Piece project. Many manga-based media have continued to show disappointing aspects, and 'One Piece' also received a lot of negative reviews for the videos released before its release. However, after the official distribution of the series, it ranked first in viewership in each country, and the viewing time also recorded high figures, achieving great results worthy of the high production cost. In particular, it had a great impact on Netflix's performance in a positive direction, and the next season has also been confirmed.
In addition, Netflix recently took on the distribution of the remake One Piece anime series, which will be produced separately from the TV anime currently in progress, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the anime. In this situation, it can be seen that the addition of dubbing languages has added strength to attract more original fans and new fans to Netflix's One Piece IP.
