A laptop from outer space to CES 2024? Alienware M16 R2
American computer hardware company Dell's gaming PC brand, Alienware, showcased the M16 R2 laptop at CES 2024.
The 16-inch M16 series was unveiled in the first half of last year as the R1, and the products are divided into WUXGA and WQXGA resolutions. In particular, the WUXGA supports a refresh rate of up to 480Hz, and is a model composed of the best-performing parts currently available, such as the maximum Intel Core i9-13900HX CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090.
The M16 R2, which emphasizes performance and portability after the M16 R1, is 15% smaller than the previous generation and has increased airflow efficiency by 43%. The M16 R2 is expected to be equipped with an Intel Core Ultra H-series processor and up to an RTX 4070.
The M16 R2 can be switched to stealth mode via the F2 shortcut key. When switching to stealth mode, all RGB LEDs on the device are turned off, and the performance mode is switched to silent mode, reducing fan noise. Also, when purchasing the M16 R2, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate pass is also included.
