Smilegate RPG (CEO Jiwon-gil) announced on Wednesday (31st) that its Korean MMORPG Lost Ark will officially launch the new end-game content 'Kazeros Raid' with its first update, 'Echidna'.

'Kazeros Raid' is a new type of end-game content that intricately composes several raids against the backdrop of the great war with 'Kazeros', the Lord of the Abyss in the Lost Ark universe. 'Echidna', which marks the beginning, is a powerful demon who reigned as the Commander of the Legion of Lust before 'Biaciss' in the game's story. She possesses a beautiful appearance and bewitches adventurers in various ways during battle, leading them to their deaths. A teaser video containing the battle with Echidna was also released on the 26th.

Adventurers will naturally engage in battle with Echidna as they progress through quests in the southern region of the new continent 'Kurzan'. It consists of a total of 2 gates, with the entry item level for Normal difficulty being 1,620 and the entry item level for Hard difficulty being 1,630. In the first gate, a battle unfolds against 'Darkiel the Red Calamity', who freely wields a greatsword. Adventurers who are victorious in the battle against 'Darkiel' can enter a new battlefield where they can encounter Echidna.

The battlefield is a space created by Echidna using the power of lust. Unlike the barren and polluted continent of Kurzan, it is a flower garden full of beautiful flowers, but dangers lurk everywhere. Adventurers who succeed in defeating Echidna can receive various rewards depending on the difficulty, such as materials for the new growth system 'Superior Honing' and a special mount, 'Wings'.

The new battle system 'Alliance Skill' is also added in the Kazeros Raid. Alliance Skill is a special skill that can only be used in the Kazeros Raid, and it is a system that allows you to select one of the NPCs who help adventurers to support the battle. Each NPC has a different effect, so a wise choice is required considering the battle situation.

Along with the Echidna update, the new growth system 'Superior Honing' is also added. 'Superior Honing' helps to further grow the equipment you own and reach a higher item level than before. It can be performed on ancient equipment enhanced to +19 or higher, or Esther Weapons evolved to stage 6 or higher, and is a system that grows equipment by accumulating honing experience using materials acquired through the Echidna Raid.
