The Homing Launcher is worth crafting as it reduces missed Spears
The Single-shot Spear Launcher isn't much different from throwing by hand. The range isn't significantly increased, and the Spear still drops in a parabolic arc, so I wouldn't recommend investing materials to craft it.

The Scatter Spear Launcher can fire 14-15 Spears at once. It's not like you can herd Pals in Palworld, and there aren't any places where 10 or more Pals naturally gather, so there's really no use for it. Don't craft it unless you want to see Spears scattered meaninglessly on the ground.

The Homing Spear Launcher is the only launcher you won't regret crafting. It can fire Spears from a much greater distance than throwing by hand, and the Spear automatically flies towards the Pal, so you won't miss. If you combine it with a glider, you can catch multiple Pals in an instant. However, be careful as the Spear will bounce off if it hits terrain, just like other Spears.
