A new mobile game utilizing the IP of the anime 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica' has been revealed.

Japanese game developer Pokelabo announced today (22nd) its new mobile game 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra'. The newly opened webpage also features a commemorative illustration by manga artist Ume Aoki, who was in charge of the original character designs.

Magia Exedra is a new title co-developed by Pokelabo and f4samurai. f4samurai has previously developed 'Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story', a mobile game utilizing the Madoka Magica IP. Pokelabo will be in charge of game service operations, while planning and distribution will be handled by Aniplex.

Several games utilizing the Madoka Magica IP have been produced before, but this is the second title to be released as a mobile app since Magia Record. Since the previous title, Magireco, as well as the two titles released for PSP and PSVITA, did not support Korean, it is unclear whether this title will support Korean.

The exact release date of the game has not yet been revealed, but it is speculated that it will be released in time for the premiere of the latest theatrical anime 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica Walpurgis no Kaiten', which is scheduled to be released in Japan in the winter of 2024. The new mobile game 'Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra' utilizing the Madoka Magica IP is scheduled to be released within 2024.
