Use extreme dodging and breaks! Instance Dungeon 'Igrid' Guide

The Instance Dungeon in Solo Leveling: Arise is an important dungeon where you can obtain accessory artifacts. The higher-level Instance Dungeon Igris, which opens in the later part of the game, is an important boss that you have to clear endlessly until you reach Stage 10.

Although the difficulty gradually decreases as your Combat Power increases, it is a powerful boss with a Combat Power requirement of 260,000 for Stage 10 alone, so you need to learn the patterns well and seize attack opportunities to clear it without lacking damage. Since obtaining level 55 Legendary artifacts is the starting point for getting end-game gear, it is important to quickly enter dungeons of Stage 5 or higher.

The boss 'Igris' of the Instance Dungeon, who is also considered one of the gatekeepers in the story mission, is next in line.

Get Break! Sung Jinwoo Skill Build and Recommended Settings

Unlike the Story Dungeon, Igris in the Instance Dungeon has a weakness to Dark element. If you have Dark element weapons such as 'Shadow Scythe', 'Yo刀 Plum Blossom', or 'Moon Shadow', it will greatly help with the strategy. Since the boss's movements are fast, the popular weapon 'Thetis' Grimoire', which has a freezing effect, is also useful. If you have one Dark element weapon, you can equip the Grimoire.

Igris is also a boss that has Break, so when choosing Sung Jinwoo's skills, it is good to look for the presence or absence of 'Break'. Recommended skills include 'Dance of Death', which has a high coefficient and basic Break damage, 'Continuous Attack', which consumes a lot of mana but has excellent Break destruction ability, and 'Crushing Blow', which has a shield and Super Armor rune, which are helpful for the strategy.

Basically, if you have a Dark element 부여 rune, use that skill, and if there is any space left, bring a Break skill. For Hunter Supporters, a Dark element Hunter is the best, but if your Combat Power does not drop, it is helpful to organize a Hunter with a Break effect (tank classes such as Seo Jiwoo, Emma). 'Lim Tae-gyu' is a Dark element Hunter and has Break, making him useful in the Igris boss fight.

Igris has many patterns that knock down Sung Jinwoo and the attack damage is also strong. It is recommended to equip the Blessing Stone 'Daily Quest Complete' as insurance to prevent accidental deaths. Other Blessing Stones that are helpful for damage or Break are useful.

Seize the Attack Timing with Extreme Evasion! Igris Boss Fight Strategy Flow

The Igris boss fight is a battle of basics. The boss is fast and has many skills that lift and knock down. You can easily clear it by responding to each pattern with extreme evasion and seizing attack opportunities, but if you are hit by a pattern, your evasion skills will be used in succession and you will take a lot of damage. It may seem difficult at first, but it is also a boss that becomes easy quickly if you learn the basic patterns step by step.

Among the basic patterns, the ones to watch out for are the jump after in/out/in attack, the lightning flash after dash, and the delayed stab. They appear consistently from the beginning to the end, so you need to make sure you respond to the patterns. In particular, from the high stages, the 장판 premonition of the in/out/in pattern where the 장판 explodes after the jump is not visible, so it is better to get into the habit of looking at the boss's motion and avoiding it rather than looking at the floor.

The dash pattern is a beat off from the front, so if you look at the motion and avoid it, you will be hit. You have to avoid it by pressing the evasion skill in advance, but it is better to move to the left or right and use the evasion skill on the afterimage to aim for extreme evasion.

The delayed stab is difficult at first, but it becomes a good attack opportunity once you get used to it. You can easily get through it if you just avoid it when the boss's body twitches.

You should also be careful of the periodic push (roar) attack. The premonition is fast and difficult to respond to, and if you fall over, it will use ranged patterns such as jump attacks or Ruler's Hand as a combo. It is good to watch the boss's remaining health and respond, or use Super Armor skills in advance.

The boss has Break, so you can create a definite attack opportunity. If you have a Dark element Break skill, the strategy becomes much easier. Even if you don't have that rune, you can bring a Break skill to induce Break at the desired timing and deal a lot of damage with the Shadow Legion.

Igris Basic Pattern Extreme Evasion Timing Summary

This is a pattern that you see often from the first encounter to 50% of the remaining health. Because it comes out in an almost fixed order depending on the damage output (EX Jump Attack > Delayed Stab > Teleport after Sword Energy), it is good to determine the timing of skill use accordingly. It is usually better to use the Shadow Legion without teleporting.

- Jump Attack

Used when the distance gets far. It is used with almost 100% probability at the time of encounter, so it is good to learn the extreme evasion timing. If you are wearing SSR 'Shadow Scythe', it is also good to be hit by this first pattern to meet the 70% health condition.

- Teleport after Sword Energy

The boss disappears and appears in the opposite direction of Sung Jinwoo and fires sword energy. If you stick to it immediately after the first sword energy, the pattern ends here, and if you can't stick to it, you additionally use a sword energy pattern consisting of 3 hits. It is best to float extreme evasion on the first sword energy that Igris fires and use Shadow Step, and if you fail, be careful because the last 2 attacks are a little faster.

- Swing and Jump Attack

The boss swings his sword forward and jumps and slams. If you have extremely evaded the swing, it is easier to use Shadow Step after watching the jump instead of using it immediately. If you use Shadow Step immediately, you may be hit because the boss turns his body 180 degrees and jumps to attack.

- Delayed Stab

The boss stands still, emitting a red aura. After that, he stabs and blows away the aggro target with a time difference. You can use the evasion skill when the boss's body twitches.

Igris Advanced Pattern Extreme Evasion Timing Summary

These are the late-game 강화 patterns, the additional patterns in high-difficulty Instance Dungeons, and the general patterns that are difficult to extremely evade. If you master all of these patterns, the strategy will become much easier.

- Push (Roar) Attack

This is the most difficult pattern to evade. It is used after a certain amount of time has passed after the encounter, and is used periodically thereafter depending on the time. There is an invincibility judgment during the first push attack. If the boss is standing still at a certain health level, it is convenient to predict this pattern and activate Super Armor skills/Supporters.

- Jump after In/Out/In

After jumping, Igris explodes 장판 3 times. Inside/Outside/Inside 3 times. It's clean if you avoid the inside and attack, and then extremely evade the last 장판. From Instance Stage 6 onwards, the red premonition 장판 is not visible, so be careful. For the last attack, it is okay to take a break for a while immediately after the boss takes out his sword and press the evasion skill.

▲ Take a break for a beat and use the evasion skill (not 1 second)

- Dash after Lightning Flash

It stuns Sung Jinwoo with a time-delayed dash and leaves an additional afterimage attack in the place where he passed. There is a time difference in the attack, and you must evade slightly earlier than the boss's movement to get an extreme evasion judgment. It is easier to avoid the dash with an evasion skill in advance and evade once more to the afterimage to float extreme evasion.

- Spin Attack

The boss holds his sword and dashes greatly twice. It is better to avoid it from a distance without aiming for evasion. If you avoid it with evasion, you have to use all 3 evasion skills.

- Ruler's Hand

Used when the distance gets far. The boss flashes his eyes and pulls one hand back. After that, he fires a 장풍 attack that pulls Sung Jinwoo with a premonition of the hand flashing. If hit, he floats in the air and is hit by the following slash. It is safer to approach the boss and grab his back, or extremely evade at the exact timing and use Shadow Step, or use about 1 more evasion to move.

- Sword Energy 강화 Pattern

Used below 50% health. The boss fires sword energy once and disappears, and appears in the location where Sung Jinwoo is and fires a slash attack. The location before the boss appears is visible in advance, but if you evade immediately after seeing this effect, you are likely to be hit by the slash. This is because the boss's attack has good tracking performance. Press evade the moment you see Igris's appearance.
