Obtained Star's Sound and Wood Grain Shard! Shuei's Backflip Challenge
You can participate in the aerial backflip challenge through the NPC 'Shui' around the souvenir shop south of Geumju Castle.
It's on the first floor below the stairs, not the second floor with the beacon.
You can use backflip by pressing dash/evade (L-Shift or right-click) in a neutral state where you don't press any direction keys while jumping (Space).
Be careful because if you use it while accidentally pressing a direction key, you will dash instead of backflipping.
✅ How to use Backflip
Jump (Space) → (in the air + without pressing any direction keys) → Dash/Evade (L-Shift or right-click)
The challenge is successful if you use backflip a certain number of times without falling off the wooden box.
The size of the platform varies depending on the difficulty of the challenge.
✅ Platform size by challenge difficulty
- Easy: 3x3
- Normal: 2x2
- Hard: 1x1
(Limited time 30 seconds, reward acquisition is the same for all difficulties when achieving 5/10 times)
You can easily beat the easy and normal difficulties by using the diagonal direction.
You can repeat the process of using backflip from one diagonal end, landing, and returning to the original position.
✅ Easy/Normal Difficulty Strategy
Move to the diagonal end → Jump (Space) → Backflip (Right-click) → Land → Move to the starting position (W)
You cannot land on the box even if you use the diagonal on hard difficulty.
So, you need to adjust your position in the air using the gliding function after using backflip.
✅ Hard Difficulty Strategy
Jump (Space) → Backflip (Right-click) → Glide (Space) → Fine-tune landing point (W) → Land
If you succeed in the challenge for the first time at any difficulty, you will achieve the 'Great Performance Success' achievement.
You can also get rewards if you succeed in backflipping 5/10 times or more for the first time for each difficulty.
