What if you made a keyboard out of Minecraft blocks? HIGROUND 'Minecraft Keyboard'
The American custom keyboard manufacturer 'HIGROUND' has been selling custom keyboards with various IP concepts. This time, they are previewing the release of keyboards, desk mats, t-shirts, and crossbody bags with the Minecraft concept, one of MS's representative game IPs. Minecraft is a game developed by MOJANG Studio and has been steadily loved since it was first introduced to the world in 2009. Since MS officially acquired the IP, it has been developing various game contents, actively porting to various platforms, and releasing many spin-off works.
Looking at the keyboard, the Minecraft custom fits quite well because of the small, angular squares that are densely packed together. HIGROUND has unveiled a total of 6 types of custom keyboards, 2 types of keycap sets, 5 types of desk mats, t-shirts, and crossbody bags. The keyboards feature the main character Steve and animals running, various items, equipment, blocks, grass, and the most popular monster, 'Creeper'. The keycaps with spaces, like the inventory concept, have the alphabet engraved on top, but the keycaps full of pictures like blocks have the alphabet engraved on the side so as not to cover the pictures, showing attention to detail.
The desk mats have designs that match the game's concept, such as piles of various ores or blocks, crafting recipes, and maps, and there is also a Creeper that shows a slightly scary atmosphere. The crossbody bag has a rectangular shape inspired by glass blocks that catches the eye. This product is not currently available for purchase and will go on sale on May 29th at 12 PM Pacific Standard Time, 4 PM Korean time on the 30th.
