Camel Mount SMB32 StanbyMe Stand Review

Sangkom also makes videos ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ

Hello, this is Sangkom Electronics.
With the recent emergence of the StanbyME portable TV tailored to modern lifestyles, we've entered an era where you can enjoy your favorite video content more closely.
However, due to its high price, the Sam-tanbyME, which combines a Samsung Smart TV with a portable stand, is emerging as a cost-effective alternative.
In particular, Camel Mount has released it in five colors - white, black, blue, pink, and green - with a clean design to blend well with the interior.
Camel Mount SMB32 Sam-tanbyME Stand
I chose the plain white model and will assemble it myself to examine its pros and cons.
Now, let's start the review.

First, you need to connect the base and the lower column, and it's quite heavy because it's made to withstand up to 12kg, so you'll need some strength.
If you want a more stable stand, there is also the SMB49 model that can hold up to 15kg.

It's good to put the remote control or smartphone on the shelf.

This VESA connection part is capable of tilt, swivel, and pivot.

I'm installing the fixed plate now. You can put a TV adapter or power strip on it.

I'm going to combine the Camel CM2710GI gaming monitor with Google Chromecast to make it a smart TV.
VESA basically supports 75x75 and 100x100, and if you connect the expansion VESA included in the package, you can also mount 100x200 and 200x200.
And they put in more bolts than in the early days of release to increase compatibility.

I tried to organize the wires neatly, but the power strip cable was thick, so it was difficult to tie it with a 3M cable guide, and there was a cable hole, but the pig nose (plug) didn't fit in.
I'm too lazy to organize the wires, so I'll just use it as is.
For your information, they are planning to release a power strip box as an optional product to make it easier to organize the power strip.

The fact that you can move the TV is definitely a big advantage.
It was nice to be able to put it close to the sofa and watch videos or see a larger screen than a smartphone when working.

Swivel is just changing the direction of the stand, but pivot and tilt helped me use the TV more efficiently in various environments.

So far, I've reviewed the Camel Mount SMB32 Sam-tanbyME stand.
It's not as wireless as StanbyME, but if you combine a cheap monitor and Chromecast, you can create a cost-effective portable TV.
It can be moved easily with smooth wheels, and can be used at various angles with tilt, swivel, and pivot functions.

If you have a monitor that's not being used, it might be a good idea to make a portable TV.
I hope my review has helped you choose a product, and this has been Sangkom Electronics.
