The Lost Ark single mode added in Season 3 has emerged as content that allows you to enjoy some end-game content solo. As it allows you to challenge and progress through end-game content that could only be done by forming a party or raid, it is expected to alleviate Lost Ark's unique entry barrier to some extent.

However, you cannot receive full rewards compared to progressing with a party or raid, and currently, higher-level content such as Thaemine, Echidna, and Behemoth are not implemented in single mode. In particular, the difference in obtainable gold is significant compared to other rewards. In the case of Ivory Tower, which allows you to obtain the most gold in single mode, you can obtain 3,500 gold upon clearing up to Gate 3. Considering that the existing Ivory Tower Normal gives 9,000 gold, there is a clear and significant difference in gold rewards.

Therefore, it is somewhat lacking to proceed as the main content for growth, and it seems that it can be used to improve proficiency in the trial phase or when it is not easy to form a party.

Single mode basically consists of each content being configured with a single difficulty. For rewards other than gold, you can obtain the same quantity as the normal difficulty of the existing content. In addition, various honor rewards and 'Essence of Esther' cannot be obtained when playing single mode. Additionally, you cannot obtain 'Book of Judgment' in the Abyssal Dungeon Kayangel, and Legendary Elixirs do not appear in Ivory Tower.

Even when clearing single mode, you can obtain 'Clear Medals', which are common currency for each content gate. 'Clear Medals' can be exchanged for various items through the 'Single Mode Exchange NPC' located in major cities. As you can exchange them for key materials such as various honing materials and smithing/tailoring to gems (bound) and elixirs, it can be seen as the most important currency in single mode. In particular, you can also exchange for key materials from Abyssal Dungeons (Kayangel, Ivory Tower) where you cannot obtain some materials through these medals.

The higher the recommended item level of the content, the more 'Clear Medals' you can obtain upon clearing it. In the case of Ivory Tower, which is the last single mode content, the number of 'Clear Medals' that can be obtained when clearing up to Gate 3 is 900. Considering that 120 Clear Medals can be obtained when clearing Valtan single mode, it can be seen as a big difference. Therefore, in order to use material exchange from honing materials with weekly acquisition limits, it is more efficient to clear higher-level content than lower-level content.
