Former Last Origin Devs' New Game, 'Horizon Walker' Pre-Registration Opens
Gentle Maniac announced today (the 17th) the opening of the official community for their turn-based collectible RPG 'Horizon Walker' and the start of pre-registration.
'Horizon Walker' is set in a world on the brink of destruction due to the 'Forsaken Gods' and mutated humans who emerged through dimensional rifts one day. Players become 'Demigods' who killed gods within the barrier and stole their power. They will gather warriors from various worlds caught in the rifts to stop the rifts and embark on a journey to eliminate the threats to humanity.
The combat system is basically SRPG-style, emphasizing core gameplay where players must carefully calculate SP consumption for both movement and attacks. It differentiates itself by adopting circular attack ranges or skill-specific ranges, and polygonal movement ranges. It also teases a no-holds-barred dating simulation and a private room with daring interactions.
Meanwhile, Gentle Maniac is a company founded by former Last Origin developers, including CEO Bok Gyu-dong. The newly revealed 'Horizon Walker' is already attracting attention by revealing a 'spicy' post-apocalyptic world and story, as well as bold character designs.
