The new raid 'Egihr' in Lost Ark is scheduled to be released on the 24th. After the inheritance of ancient equipment is completed after Egihr, full-fledged Arc Passive setting will be possible. Until now, T4 accessories were not of great value, but when adventurers start setting up, accessories become the most important. What kind of accessory should you get to consider it a 'jackpot'?

 

The dropped accessories themselves are easy to distinguish. The basic value of an accessory is the Enlightenment Point, which is the first option. Good accessories must have high basic Enlightenment Points, and the maximum value is also higher when honed. The next thing to look at is 'Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence'. Even accessories of the same quality have different Strength, Dex, Int, and HP, and even accessories of lower quality may have higher Strength, Dex, and Int.

 

It is presumed that the reason is that stats are randomly distributed to HP/Strength/Dex/Int depending on the quality. It is true that the higher the accessory quality, the better, but you have to check the detailed stats yourself. Even high-quality accessories may have different detailed stats for HP/Strength/Dex/Int.

Accessory Honing Criteria

The real value of an accessory is determined after honing. All accessories can be honed a total of 3 times, and random options are granted with a certain probability each time honing. There are various options such as Attack Power and HP, but the key is the 'special options' that are designated for each accessory part. Think of the special options for each part of Elixir. When honing, you should prioritize getting these options. Special options are more efficient than common options that increase stats by a fixed amount because they increase stats by %.

 

Currently, there are 4 special options for each accessory, 2 for dealers and 2 for supporters. Since there are a total of 3 honing opportunities for accessories, both dealers and supporters can use up to 2 special options per accessory part.

 

Looking at the options for each part, necklaces have Additional Damage %, Damage Dealt to Enemies %, Identity Gauge Recovery Amount for Supporters, and Branding Power % that increases the efficiency of Supporter's Brand debuff. Earrings have Attack Power % and Weapon Attack Power %, Party Member Healing Effect, and Shield Effect. For 4T, the ring is an important part for dealers, with Critical Hit Rate % / Critical Hit Damage % attached. Since you can wear 2 rings, you can theoretically get 3% Critical Hit Rate and 8% Critical Hit Damage if you get top+top.

Special options for dealers increase by %, and common options increase by a fixed value. For example, the dedicated option for the earring part increases Weapon Attack Power by 3%, and the common option Weapon Attack Power increases by 960 based on the top option. Most special options have better efficiency than top-grade common options even at the lowest option. This is because the basic stats such as Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Weapon Attack Power of characters have greatly increased in 4T. The fixed value of Weapon Attack Power only increases damage by about 0.2~3%.

 

I bought accessories directly and verified the values. For the experiment, I alternately equipped a 3-effective (low dedicated option, low Attack Power, medium Weapon Attack Power) accessory including low Weapon Attack Power % and a top-grade 1-effective Weapon Attack Power % accessory to compare the final Attack Power. The Dexterity value was different by 146, but I assumed it was within the margin of error. In the case of the 3-effective low-low-medium accessory, the Attack Power was 96518, while the Attack Power was higher at 97258 when wearing the 1-effective medium accessory. Even if it is an effective option, the grade of the accessory's dedicated option, which increases by %, is much more important than the common options with fixed values for Attack Power and Weapon Attack Power.

 

As you can see from the experimental results, there is a big difference depending on the grade even for the same special option. This is because the top-grade option is 3~4 times (about 3.8 times) higher than the low-grade option. If the accessory's dedicated option is 'top' grade, it will deal more damage than the medium+low options, and the medium-grade option will perform as well as 2 low-grade options. In accessory honing, it is most important to get special options and get them at a high grade.

Special option grade is important! What is the probability of getting an effective accessory?

 

Since the value of special options is important and 2 special options can be activated, accessory honing is essentially a fight to get special options and get a high grade from them. Which of the two special options is better will vary slightly depending on the class, but it can be said that it does not change much within the same grade.

 

Of course, the most powerful thing is to get both special options as top-grade special options in terms of final damage increase. If we call this the tier 1 option in order of damage, then top+medium, top+low, and medium+medium will be tier 2, tier 3, and tier 4, respectively.

 

Interestingly, tier 5 is when there is only one top-grade special option, and tier 6 is medium+low. This is because the value of the top option is more than 3 times higher than the low option. Tier 7 is when there is only one medium option, tier 8 is when there are 2 low options, and tier 9 is when there is only one low option. Finally, tier 10 is when there are no special options at all.

So, what is the probability of getting the best top+top effective option? According to the probability information disclosed on the official website, all special options have the same probability, and top-grade options appear with a probability of 0.7%. Also, there is a rule that once a special option appears, it will not appear again regardless of the grade. If you calculate this, the probability that the special option will appear as top+top when all 3 honings are completed is 0.0327%. You need to hone 920 accessories to stage 3 to have a 50% chance of winning top+top.

 

Since this is practically difficult to aim for, it is necessary to compromise at an appropriate level. For example, if you want an accessory in the top 5%, it is good to aim for options within a total of 5 tiers, including top+top, top+medium, top+low, medium+medium, and top+X. The probability of top+X, which is tier 5, appearing is 3.2667%, and if you add the probabilities of higher tiers, it is 4.7673%. If you are aiming for the top 25%, you can aim for medium+low, medium+X, and low+low.

 

Of course, honing graduation-level accessories is not something to think about right now. This is because the number of accessories you can acquire is small at the beginning, and there are also not enough gem fragments. For now, in the early stages where activating Enlightenment Points is important, you can think of it as graduating if a special option is attached and continue honing. This is because it is difficult to achieve even tier 8 based on the current ancient accessories with insufficient fragments.
