Season 5 Fireball Build Text Guide [August 9th Phase Correction]

Hello, this is jaehee444.

I wrote a short review of Season 5 a few hours ago,

I thought it would be good to share a guide on the Fireball build, so I'm leaving it in text form.
(I'm too busy playing the game to attach detailed images and write it out...)

Not all settings are complete.
Of course, it has already gone through several optimization processes,
But I will continue to modify and develop it several times a day.

Also, the Fireball build is currently being used mainly for the Legion.
Currently, there is a bug that prevents Rune Shards from appearing in Nightmare Dungeons, so I can't run the Pit much, so the Pit performance needs to be checked later.

I will not answer questions about the content in the guide.
I'm just sharing information, I can't help each and every one of you.

Equipment Settings
※ Currently, the settings are based on 0~4 enhancements, so the tempering direction is different from the end-game settings.
※ So, don't set it on good affix items, but set it on appropriate equipment.

1-1. Helm (Legendary)
Basic Options: Intelligence, Max Life + Mana per second / CDR / Lucky Hit / Armor / All Resistances
Tempering Options: TotalTotal Armor or Max Life or Ice Armor Duration+ Lucky Hit CC (1 that doesn't overlap among Freeze, Stun, Immobilize)
Aspect Options: Aspect of Perpetual Age / Aspect of the Unbroken / Aspect of the Prudent / Aspect of the Expectant / Aspect of the Phoenix / Aspect of Fortune / Aspect of the Umbral
Gem: Ruby or Topaz preference
※ You can adjust and combine the helm options appropriately with the chest, pants, and boots.
※ Ice Armor duration can be added to the remaining slots after Armor / All Resistances are set up based on the current standard.
※ Mana per second is not essential.
※ The helm aspect is not very important.. Choose whatever suits your taste, whether it's damage / tanking / utility.

1-2. Helm (Andariel's Visage) -Currently in use
You can just use it, but you need to adjust the aspect. Also, Andariel's Visage gives +1 to Tal Rasha stacks.
Gem: Ruby or Topaz preference
※ Please check the ring and necklace descriptions when using Andariel's Visage.
※ Usability is better with other damage aspects, but the Aspect of Retribution has double dipping, so the damage increase is greater in boss battles. And even in a state where you can't receive the Aspect of Retribution effect, the damage is not lacking.
※ Test results show that the double dipping of the Aspect of Retribution has been fixed this season. Nevertheless, Retribution is still usable, but you can use other aspects such as Control/Edgemaster's/Storm Swelling.

1-3. Helm (Shako)
Gem: Ruby or Topaz preference
Just use it.

2. Chest (Legendary)
Basic Options: Intelligence, Max Life + Mana per second / Defensive Skills / Teleport / Flame Shield / Ice Armor Rank / Armor / All Resistances
Tempering Options:Total Armor or Max Life or Ice Armor Duration+ Lucky Hit CC (1 that doesn't overlap among Freeze, Stun, Immobilize)
Aspect Options: Aspect of Snowguard
Gem: Ruby or Topaz preference
※ You can adjust and combine the chest options appropriately with the helm, pants, and boots.
※ Ice Armor duration can be added to the remaining slots after Armor / All Resistances are set up based on the current standard.
※ Mana per second is not essential.

3. Gloves(Gloves of the Illuminator)
When you first create the build, it doesn't have to be Ancestral.
If possible, it should be Sacred or higher.
Of course, the higher the stats, the better.
The importance of options in the early stages is Mana on Fireball Explosion > Fireball Rank > Attack Speed > Critical Strike Chance
After a certain level of setting, Fireball Rank > Attack Speed > Critical Strike Chance > Mana on Explosion.

4. Pants (Legendary)
Basic Options: Intelligence, Max Life + Mana per second / Defensive Skills / Teleport / Flame Shield / Ice Armor Rank / Armor / All Resistances
Tempering Options: Total Armor or Max Life or Ice Armor Duration + Lucky Hit CC (1 that doesn't overlap among Freeze, Stun, Immobilize)
Aspect Options: Aspect of Concentration
Gem: Ruby or Topaz preference
※ You can adjust and combine the pants options appropriately with the helm, chest, and boots.
※ Mana per second is not essential.
※ Ice Armor duration can be added to the remaining slots after Armor / All Resistances are set up based on the current standard.

5-1. Boots (Legendary)
Basic Options: Intelligence, Max Life + Movement Speed / Mana per second / Armor / All Resistances
Tempering Options: Teleport CDR or Movement Speed+ Lucky Hit CC (1 that doesn't overlap among Freeze, Stun, Immobilize)
Aspect Options: Aspect of the Bounding Conduit
Gem: Ruby or Topaz preference
※ You can adjust and combine the pants options appropriately with the helm, chest, and boots.
※ Mana per second is not essential.

5-2. Boots (Esu's Heirloom)
It's a matter of preference. If you don't have legendary boots or you like Esu's Heirloom, you can use it.

6. Weapon (Staff of Endless Rage)
Gem: Emerald
It's not essential, but mapping becomes easier if you have it.
Unlike gloves, the item power is important, so use one with high item power and good stats if possible.
The importance of options is Fireball Casts Two Projectiles Chance > Fireball Rank = Intelligence > Fireball Projectile Speed.

7. Necklace (Legendary)
Basic Options: 3 lines of damage multiplicative passives such as Incendiary Sparks, Inner Flames, Glass Cannon, or you can fill in the missing parts after setting up other equipment.
Tempering Options: Pyromaniac Critical Strike Damage, Pyromaniac Attack Speed 1 + Other necessary things such as Armor, All Resistances, Resource Cost Reduction
Aspect Options: Aspect of Three Curses
Gem: Skull or Diamond, adjust according to the situation

8. Ring (Legendary)
Basic Options: Intelligence, Attack Speed, Critical Strike Chance, Vulnerable on Lucky Hit
Tempering Options:Pyromaniac Critical Strike Damage, Pyromaniac Attack Speed 1 +Unstable Currents CDR
Aspect Options: Aspect of Ancient Flame (Aspect of Control/Retribution/Edgemaster's/Storm Swelling when using Andariel's Visage)
Gem: Skull or Diamond, adjust according to the situation

9. Ring (Tal Rasha's Iridescent Loop)
Gem: Skull or Diamond, adjust according to the situation
If you have it, use it unconditionally and use the one with high stats.
For reference, a powerful Guardian passive has been added to Tal Rasha's Ring this season.
This passive increases all resistances when casting a skill,
So, when using Tal Rasha's Ring, you need to set it up by referring to the resistance that rises with the passive when setting up all resistances.
If you don't have Tal Rasha's Ring, refer to ring number 8 and use it additionally.

Skill Settings

Enchantment: Fire Bolt (fixed) + Ice Orb
※ If you have Vulnerable on Lucky Hit on the ring, you can remove Ice Orb and add something else.

Paragon Settings

※ If you still lack resistance even after setting up the equipment, you can invest in all resistances by subtracting a little Dexterity from around the Destruction glyph on the Burning Instinct board. The damage won't be destroyed by subtracting this much. After the resistance is resolved, you can revert it.

I'll say it again, I will not answer questions about the content in the guide.
I'm just sharing information, I can't help each and every one of you.
