Patch 14.16 was applied to the League of Legends Korean server on Wednesday, August 14th. In response to the recent mid AD meta, mage champions have been buffed, and the performance of Doran's Blade has been nerfed. Also, during this patch period, a commemorative skin for T1, the winning team of the 2023 World Championship (Worlds), will be released.

Skarner has been showing poor performance in the top lane since the function of pulling enemies from behind with his E skill was removed. Accordingly, his base health (610 → 630) and base attack damage (60 → 63) have been increased, and the bonus attack damage ratio of the Fracture/Uprising (Q) skill has been increased from 60 → 75%.

On the other hand, since Jungle Skarner was already recording a decent win rate, this buff is expected to help establish a stronger position for Jungle Skarner in addition to Top Skarner.

Lucian, who has recently been appearing in the mid lane again due to the mid AD meta, has had his passive AD ratio increased (15% → 20%), but the base damage of Piercing Light (Q) has been lowered from 95~215 → 85~205. This reduces Lucian's skill-based early game power.

Senna has transformed from a support-type marksman into the team's main damage dealer and has been assessed as being excessively strong. In this patch, Senna's support abilities will be strengthened, and her sustained damage will be nerfed. The attack speed increase (4% → 2%) and passive (10% critical strike chance per 20 stacks → 8%) have been lowered, and the Q skill has been changed to increase health recovery, remove the armor penetration ratio, and strengthen the AP ratio.

The W skill's root duration (1~2 seconds → 1.25~2.25 seconds) and the ultimate's shield ratio (40% AP → 70%) have been increased. These changes mainly reduce Senna's damage and strengthen her support performance such as AP scaling, healing, slow, root, and shield.

Corki, who is mainly active in the upper ranks and tournaments rather than in general ranked games, will be nerfed. The mana cost of the Q skill has been increased from 60~80 → 80, and the cooldown has also been increased from 8~6 seconds → 9~7 seconds.

On the other hand, several mage champions who are being pushed back by the mid AD meta have been buffed. Azir, a representative tournament champion, has had his health regeneration (3.5 → 5) and base armor (22 → 25) increased. Orianna's Q skill's AP ratio has been buffed from 50% → 55%. Syndra's ultimate damage per sphere has been strengthened from 90/130/170 → 100/140/180.

Conversely, Doran's Blade, a major starting item for AD champions, has been nerfed from 100 → 80 health and 3.5% → 3% life steal.

During this patch period, a skin commemorating T1's victory in the 2023 World Championship (Worlds) will be released. Skins for Jayce, Bard, Jinx, Orianna, and Lee Sin will be added, and in the case of Jayce, a Prestige version has also been revealed. The skins include the players' requests, including signatures in the recall animation.
