Source: Devsisters
Devsisters' development studio, Studio Kingdom, has updated its mobile RPG Cookie Run: Kingdom with the 'Wind Piercing the Darkness' update and released a Legendary Cookie.
■ My mission is to chase the darkness! Legendary grade ‘Wind Archer Cookie’ added
The forest guardian ‘Wind Archer Cookie’ is a Legendary-grade Ranged Cookie that has been loved since the previous Cookie Run IP. Originally a spirit of the wind, he received the power of life from a mysterious being to protect the Dessert Forest in danger and took the form of a cookie.

The skill ‘Lasting Wind’ transforms and fires arrows of the storm to push back and stun enemies, and then fires arrows of the tracker during basic attacks. The tracker's arrows deal damage to up to five enemies with high attack power, inflict the 'Tracker' and 'Wind Mark' debuffs on enemies, and grant the 'Storm' buff to themselves. Finally, it fires a final wind that ignores some of the enemy's damage reduction and deals additional damage.
In the story progression event ‘Wind's Tracker Chasing the Darkness’, you can check out the story of Wind Archer Cookie, who entered the Dark Witch Cookie's laboratory to uncover the truth in the darkness. Wind Archer Cookie's legendary skin ‘Shining Guardian Wind’ has also been released.
Meanwhile, a new cookie skill element attribute ‘Wind Attribute’ has been added. The skills of Wind Archer Cookie, Rogue Cookie, Pastry Cookie, Mint Choco Cookie, and Gumiho Cookie now have the wind attribute. Wind attribute cookies receive the buff ‘Tailwind’, which increases attack speed and damage reduction during basic attacks.
■ Completely improve the Guild Battle system by reflecting user opinions
Cookie Run: Kingdom's representative co-op content, 'Guild Battle', has been completely improved by actively reflecting user feedback.

The stage of the raid boss monster and the 'Continue' system have been deleted, and a method of calculating the maximum cumulative damage per play has been newly introduced. The difficulty increases as the stage and basic stats of the boss monster increase along with the cumulative damage per round. This improves the existing system, where damage loss could occur when continuing due to the stage being divided for each boss monster. In addition, the number of boss monsters that can be battled in a single season has been changed from 3 to 2. The appearing boss monsters are rotated on a seasonal basis.
In addition, various functions have been introduced to improve user convenience. A 2.5x speed option has been added for faster battles, and if the game is forcibly terminated during battle, you can continue the battle from that point when reconnecting. A team recommendation function for each boss monster and a practice mode function that allows you to practice battles with boss monsters at the same stage as the currently achieved cumulative damage have also been opened.
