The core reward of the Egir Raid is the 'Blazing Keystone'. You can craft and inherit new Ancient equipment, and gain +20 evolution points per piece, which is +12 more points than existing Relic equipment. It plays a key role in the Ark Passive evolution setting.
Egir gives Reforge materials and 23,000 Gold as main rewards. Hard mode drops Ancient accessories, but Normal mode only drops Relic accessories. The first-time clear reward includes 20 Blazing Keystones. You can craft 1 Ancient armor piece in Normal mode based on the first week.
If you clear Normal Gate 1 and 2, and do all the extra loot options, you will acquire 20 Keystones per week, taking up to 14 weeks to fully gear up if there is no bidding. In Hard mode, under the same conditions, you will acquire 40 Keystones per week, allowing you to get 1 armor piece in 1 week and 1 weapon in 2 weeks, requiring a total of 7 weeks. If you bid 4 times (10 Keystones per box), you can shorten it by 1 week.
Gate 1 Death King Iliakan is a Legion Commander boss of the Demon type. There are no gauge or status effect mechanics from the Iliakan Legion Commander Raid, but there are many attacks that knock down characters (hit stun). There are also patterns that require Just Guard, so be careful of 'two downs' where your character's get-up skill is used. In the later part, the presence or absence of get-up skills is one of the core strategies, such as the Valtan pattern that snipes downed characters and the 60-bar pattern where stagger time is important. You need to watch the boss's hit stun attacks carefully, evade safely, and save your get-up skills.
Death King Iliakan uses a mix of patterns from the existing Iliakan and Valtan. Immediately after the encounter, he mainly uses Iliakan's patterns, but from the 142-bar enhanced form, he actively uses Valtan's patterns. The green scythe that Iliakan holds in his right hand is the Iliakan pattern, and the Valtan pattern comes from the Valtan's axe in his left hand. There are many patterns where you need to see and distinguish the two colors (green, mint).
After 87 bars, the giant boss 'Egir' directly attacks the battlefield, dealing damage. Think of Seyton and Kukuseyton in Kukuseyton Gate 2. Egir's attack damage itself is not high, but it gives an unremovable debuff that increases damage taken by 20% upon hit. Also, it periodically slams the battlefield and uses a Just Guard pattern that spews flames.
The 'Execution (aka Peek-a-boo pattern)' pattern that appeared in the Iliakan Raid is also here, but instead of dying upon hit, you are dragged into the 'World of the Dead'. You cannot use battle items in the World of the Dead. You need to dodge the powerful projectile attacks of the enemies inside and survive for a certain time (12 seconds). In the 165-bar stagger mechanic, you may go to the World of the Dead to perform the mechanic.
There are 4 types of Just Guard patterns in Gate 1. Except for the last 30-bar stagger, all patterns are guarded 'just before' getting hit. Don't press too early, and if you adapt with the feeling of pressing a little late, you can easily succeed in guarding.
Gate 1 is basically a mechanic-based raid. If you perform the main mechanics, you can easily get to the last phase. However, before activating the Ark Passive, there are many cases where damage is insufficient, so pattern proficiency is very important. Overall, there are many knockdown patterns, so if you get hit too much by normal patterns, you will suffer DPS loss due to two downs. If many party members lack proficiency, you may see the boss enrage as a result. If damage is insufficient, practice the patterns more or use Dark Grenades, etc.
- Battle items areHealing Potion/Adrophine Potion/Dark Grenade (Whirlwind Grenade)/Sacred Charm (Shining Sacred Charm)
- Decide on an 'Internal' party among the 1st and 2nd parties
- Decide on a 115-bar counter position (x3+1)
- The raid leader decides on 'Lahart' and 'Bastian' at 60 bars according to the stagger
Remaining HP 195 bars: Egir Headbutt followed by Iliakan Execution Pattern
After the cutscene, Egir's hand appears and hits a wide area. This attack is an instant-kill attack that must be avoided. Afterwards, Iliakan appears to a random aggro target and uses the Execution pattern once. 'Execution' pulls all characters in the frontal fan-shaped range and hits them once, sending the hit characters to the 'World of the Dead'. Unlike Legion Commander Iliakan, it is not an instant-kill pattern, but if hit, DPS loss occurs in the World of the Dead for 12 seconds, so be careful not to get hit.
The ideal solution is for 8 people to gather in one place for the first hand and avoid it, and for the aggro target of the Execution pattern to turn their head well and the rest to deal damage. Even if you don't handle it cleanly, it's OK if you avoid the Execution well.
Remaining HP 165 bars: Enter Inside and Stagger
When the pattern starts, Iliakan moves to the center and uses the 'Execution' pattern once. In this pattern, you must intentionally get hit by the Execution and go to the World of the Dead. This is because the location of the real clone that appears after the mechanic is only visible in the World of the Dead. Ultimately, you need to find 4 real clones. Decide on 4 people to move inside in advance, and the 4 people get hit by 'Execution' and go to the World of the Dead.
The internal team needs to find 4 clones with stagger marks among the 8 appearing lower-level clones. After a successful stagger, one of the 4 marks of eye, heart, horn, and scythe is displayed, and then in the external phase, the 4 lasers of eye, heart, horn, and scythe are fired to the location where the clone was.
The external team waits while killing lower-level monsters, and when the internal team appears, they stagger together and process the 4 lasers by listening to the briefing. The laser target is randomly determined, and the mark of Iliakan (one of eye, heart, horn, and scythe) appears on the head. Process this laser according to the 4 directions processed by the internal team.
The briefing can display the clockwise direction and symbol, and it appears in 4 directions based on the head direction when Iliakan first cast Execution. In other words, if you fix Iliakan's head in one direction (6 o'clock, etc.), the laser will always come out from a similar location.
Remaining HP 143 bars: Egir Breath + Hide Behind Rocks
After the cutscene, the screen switches. Egir fires a stiffening AoE attack on a random terrain. Avoid the AoE attack well, and then hide behind the walls created in 2 locations on the battlefield to avoid Egir's breath. There is a hit stun judgment at the location where the wall is created, so it is better to approach with movement skills after the stone is created. Egir's breath continuously deals near-instant-kill damage, so hide well behind the stone until the pattern ends.
After the mechanic ends, Iliakan appears to a random aggro target and uses the 'Execution' pattern once. Since the party is usually divided into left/right, you need to see the direction Iliakan is coming from and avoid it well. Even if you dodge left/right, it is better to gather in the center and induce the Iliakan Execution pattern in one direction.
Remaining HP 115 bars: Valtan Counter
Iliakan moves to the center, narrows the battlefield, and starts the counter pattern. The pattern itself is almost the same as the last phase of Valtan Gate 2 and Iliakan Gate 2. Iliakan gains a strong shield and uses inside/outside attacks once. Afterwards, Valtan executes three patterns of grab attacks, grabs all allies in the direction of the grab dash, and uses a counter attack at the end.
Counter this counter attack and fill the Alliance Gauge to destroy Iliakan's shield with the Alliance Skill to succeed. Valtan's path has three patterns: one horizontal and vertical, two horizontal and vertical, and three triangular, and if you have done Valtan and Iliakan, you can respond familiar.
Immediately after the counter pattern, Iliakan uses the 'Imposter' pattern to deal wide-range fan-shaped damage. It doesn't deal much damage, but it's good to move to a direction where there are no allies. The 1 set pattern from inside/outside, Valtan dash, counter to Imposter is performed 3 times to end.
Remaining HP 87 bars: Avoid Intelligence Pattern
That pattern from Kamen Gate 4 is back again. Egir slams his fist on the battlefield, creating multiple sequentially exploding AoEs. Getting hit by this AoE is a hit stun attack that floats in the air, and a debuff that increases damage taken by 20% is created. This debuff cannot be removed and lasts for 30 seconds. Since it continues to stack, if you get hit by the AoE multiple times, you can take a lot of damage from the Iliakan pattern afterwards.
The basic way to avoid the AoE is to 'move to where it exploded'. You can avoid all patterns by walking and moving after seeing it explode. However, the first donut-shaped AoE is a bit difficult to avoid by moving until you get the hang of it. It is recommended to use space movement skills to avoid the donut and walk to move the pizza. About 8 seconds are consumed from donut > pizza > donut, so you can avoid all donut patterns with just space movement skills.
For the second pizza AoE, remember the order in which they are created and walk from the last created AoE to the previous AoE. There is more than enough time than you think, so you just need to remember the order well.
After this pattern, Egir's attacks are periodically added to the battlefield. He spits fire over a wide area of the battlefield, or uses a flame Just Guard pattern at regular intervals.
Remaining HP 60 bars: Destroy Egir's Arm and Stagger Iliakan
It is a pattern that succeeds in staggering Iliakan within a time limit of about 35 seconds. Iliakan starts at the right end of the map, and adventurers start at the left end. Egir is blocking the path with his arm in the center, and you can go to Iliakan after destroying Egir's arm.
Egir fires AoE attacks on random paths on the battlefield. A safe zone is displayed in 1 location, and the safe zone changes in about 2-square units. Egir's arm applies Weak Point Detection like Behemoth, and can be destroyed with ally attack skills. When Egir's arm is destroyed, additional attacks fly in, which can be defended with Just Guard.
After destroying it, avoid the AoE well and stagger Iliakan. It may be a bit tight to break both patterns with skills. It is convenient to use one of the Alliance Skills Bastian and Lahart to pass the pattern.
Remaining HP 30 bars: Intelligence Pattern + Iliakan Stagger
When the remaining HP is near 30 bars, Iliakan appears in the center after the cutscene, and the stagger pattern starts. Egir's AoE attack that came out at 87 bars, the earthquake AoE attack that comes out at 150 bars, and a total of 4 Just Guard patterns are repeated periodically, and you can stagger Iliakan within the time limit. Since fast stagger is important, you can stagger while getting hit by some of the intelligence patterns, and it is good to use battle items such as Shining Sacred Charm for the earthquake AoE.
① All Just Guards should be used with the feeling of using them just before getting hit
② For the 30-bar Just Guard, press G immediately after the effect ends.
- Medusa
① Same as the Legion Commander Raid, you won't get hit if you look away.
② If you get hit by Medusa while looking at the boss, you will be forcibly moved to the outside in an uncontrollable state.
③ The boss probabilistically teleports and uses the pattern, and after the attack, it explodes the outside and knocks down the character.
④ After Medusa explodes, stick to the boss to evade.
- Back Fear and Additional Hit
① Fan-shaped fear (removable) attack in the back attack direction, followed by a powerful scythe attack on 1 aggro target.
- O, X 3-Hit Combo
① Circular, cross, circle+cross 3-hit attack. The first 2 attacks are stuns, and the last attack is a hit stun.
② Even if you get hit by the attack, focus on sticking to the side and avoiding the last attack
- Aggro Target 2-Hit Combo and Slam
① Aggro search (process of slowly turning the head), followed by 2 upward hits on the aggro target, and the last is a jump slam attack.
- Imprisonment and Counter
① Iliakan disappears and creates multiple imprisonment AoEs.
② Afterwards, he appears to the aggro target and casts a counter.
③ It's good to gather together and wait for the counter.
- Dash and Gather
① Iliakan dashes in a straight line.
② Afterwards, a wide-area AoE attack that explodes everything around.
③ It's safe to stick to the boss.
- Rotating Breath, Summon Normal Monsters
① That pattern from Legion Commander Raid Iliakan.
② After a premonition of turning the scythe over the head, he spews lasers with both hands and makes a circle.
③ Be careful as many normal monsters are summoned!
④ There is also a pattern that simply summons normal monsters.
- Valtan Breath
① The bottom of Iliakan's feet glows mint.
② Afterwards, he turns his head towards the aggro target.
③ After fixing the head, he uses a powerful breath pattern. Pushes the character and deals continuous damage.
④ Fix the head without turning it too much and evade with movement skills, etc.
- Earthquake, Big Earthquake
① Iliakan holds the scythe upside down and slams it down. Same motion as Legion Commander Iliakan.
② Small earthquakes should be avoided to the outside, and big earthquakes should be avoided further away. Debuffs can be removed with Sacred Charm, etc.
- Fear Ghost, Followed by Stab
① Iliakan swings forward and backsteps, firing a ghost projectile that inflicts fear in the direction he retreated.
② Powerful stab attack towards the feared target. If there is no target, it is used on a random aggro target.
- Samson Pull and Continuous Attack
① Multiple Samsons are created around Iliakan, and if hit, they are pulled to Iliakan.
② Afterwards, move to the aggro target and use a powerful continuous attack. If hit, you will float in the air and take a lot of damage.
- Dash and Jump Slam, Safe Where It Exploded
① Iliakan holds the weapon low and dashes forward.
② Afterwards, a leap attack towards the aggro target. The direction the scythe is slammed is the safe zone.
③ Be careful as there is a donut-shaped explosion on the outside of the slammed area after a while!
- Slam and Valtan Dash (Enhanced Pattern)
① Iliakan slowly lifts the scythe and slams it forward (stun). Afterwards, three Valtans dash from the portal (hit stun).
② Afterwards, Iliakan disappears and appears to a random aggro target and uses the same pattern once more.
- Backstep and Valtan Grab (Enhanced Pattern)
① The boss retreats and summons Valtan.
② The character in Valtan's path is grabbed and then linked to a slam attack.
- Valtan Grab and Stagger (Enhanced Pattern)
① Valtan ghosts appear to several random aggro targets and cast a grab.
② The pattern ends if not grabbed. If grabbed, Iliakan dashes a long distance and staggers. Valtan casts a blocking pattern in the path.
- Valtan Double Imposter (Enhanced Pattern)
① 2 Valtan illusions appear and cast the Imposter pattern.
② It is best for the 2 aggro targets to quickly scatter left and right. However, it is often difficult to identify the aggro target. It is safe to move to a safe zone and avoid it.
- Valtan 3-Jump and Counter (Enhanced Pattern)
① Valtan leaps towards the center of Iliakan in 3 directions, once each.
② Afterwards, a counter pattern is cast on the aggro target.
- Valtan Axe and Just Guard (Enhanced Pattern)
① Iliakan holds fire in his hand and Valtan casts an axe attack.
② Immediately after the attack, Valtan roars and the Just Guard pattern starts.
③ G when the yellow AoE is almost full!
- Rotating Scythe (Normal), Rotating Scythe (Enhanced)
① 2 frontal attacks followed by an attack that spins the scythe.
② Additional pattern after scythe recovery is a binary choice.
③ If you receive the green scythe, the exploded area is safe after the attack.
④ If you are holding a mint axe (enhanced pattern), frontal hit, back location is safe.
- Reverse #
① Iliakan's #ㅁ pattern comes out in reverse
② The first 2 attacks can be avoided by sticking to it, and the 3rd attack can be avoided by moving to the vertex of the second square
- Lantern
① The place where Iliakan's lantern shadow is created is safe. The entire wide area is hit otherwise.
- Scythe Push
① Iliakan swings a giant scythe to deal a lot of damage.
② Red AoE deals a lot of damage, yellow AoE pushes.
③ Endure with stun immunity in the safe zone, or get hit by the swing in front of the safe zone and be pushed into the safe zone.
- Radahn X-Slash (Enhanced Pattern)
① The boss grabs the weapon with both hands and slashes forward greatly (back safe).
② Afterwards, slash once more in an X shape and put down the weapon (back safe).
③ Pick up one of the two weapons and slam it down. It is safe to move to the opposite side or keep a slight distance.
- Avoid by Looking at the Smoke
① Iliakan creates green and mint smoke AoEs in order.
② One of the two colors is a safe zone. One explodes and causes hit stun.
③ The side with the shimmering smoke effect is dangerous!
④ Repeat a total of 2 times.
- Avoid with the Opposite Color
① Iliakan creates 2 areas of green and mint.
② It is safe to move to the opposite color of the weapon Iliakan is holding.
③ Be careful as the weapon color and the central area are all hit!
- Earthquake AoE
① Appears in the boss's remaining HP 150, remaining HP 30 bar patterns.
② A blue AoE covering about 90% of the battlefield appears, and then casts a full earthquake attack after a flashing premonition.
③ You can avoid it to the edge of the map, but you can use Guardian Tune, Shining Sacred Charm, Shining Sacred Bomb, etc. to gain additional attack opportunities.
- Mark Display and Meteor Fall
① Mark display on 1 random person, and a giant meteor falls after a while.
② It is good for the marked person to take the mark to the corner as the meteor deals a lot of damage.
