0. Background
Previous post:Synergy effect summary before/after nerf
In the previous post, we mainly compared the synergy of jobs that were considered representative of synergy jobs on the day of the patch. Many people mentioned the synergy of jobs not in the table and the uptime of some jobs, so this time, we have compiled the average synergy and burst synergy of all jobs.
1. Measurement criteria
Boss Damage600% → 750% (9.22 revised), Actual PDR 99%, Crit Damage 135% based on Seren or higher bosses with 380% defense rate. Attribute resistance reduction options have been removed from all synergies in the September 12th patch, so there is no longer any point in setting a standard.
2. Average Synergy Table
What is average synergy?: When party members' jobs are randomly assigned, this is an indicator of how much your job's synergy contributes to the party members'Consistent DPSThis is the synergy effect when all boss battles are calculated with only Consistent DPS, and it takes into account the proportion of users' jobs and the uptime of synergy skills.

3. Burst Synergy Table
What is burst synergy?: This is an indicator of how much your job can contribute to the party members'Burst DPStiming by mobilizing all the synergy effects your job has.
The following burst synergies apply to all jobs.

3. How was it measured?

The applied synergy skills are as follows. (Combat Orders applied) Basically, I added content from Kim Jae-saeng's 'Summary of Synergy Effects for All Jobs' post, and modified the parts that changed with this balance patch. Synergies unrelated to damage, such as slow, invincibility, Haste, and drop rate increase, were excluded.




3-1. How to measure average synergy (overall)
○What is a job coefficient?: For buffs that only apply to certain jobs, such as critical hit rate or magic attack, we multiply the synergy effect by the 'job coefficient' that takes into account the proportion of each job. The job coefficient is based on characters level 275 or higher, which is a value calculated to measure the number of damage dealers, not boss mules. In particular, the proportion of archer jobs is 12.34%, and the proportion of mage jobs is 21.91%.
○How to reflect Critical Reinforce: For critical hit rate applied to archer jobs, the uptime of Critical Reinforce (25%) is considered, and even if the uptime exceeds 25%, it is adjusted so that the maximum uptime is 25%. Based on Critical Reinforce level 30, the value is reflected so that 1% critical hit rate = 0.5% critical damage.
○Installation uptime: For always-on installations with cooldowns (Pirate Flag, Burning Legion, etc.), even if the theoretical uptime is 100%, only 70% uptime is applied. This is to account for cases where synergy is not received during Consistent DPS time in moving bosses. Always-on installations without cooldowns (Purge Area, Support Waver, etc.) can easily change their position even in moving bosses, so 100% uptime is applied. Emergency installations (Lara Manifestation, Smoke Bomb, Xenon Hologram) also apply 70% uptime compared to the existing uptime, considering the synergy exclusion time.
○Sharp Eyes, Advanced Blessing, Howling: It is assumed that the total time to clear a boss is 20 minutes. This is to reflect the synergy of jobs with synergies included in the Seiram's Elixir effect (Howling, Sharp Eyes, Advanced Blessing). However, the difference between real Sharp Eyes and real Advanced Blessing (1% critical hit rate, 1% critical damage, 1 magic attack) with Combat Orders applied during the time Seiram is applied (15 minutes) is insignificant, and it is not considered because the calculation becomes too complicated if it is included.
○Other stats: An increase of 30 magic attack is converted to a final damage effect of 0.93%, an increase of 30 main stat is converted to 0.27%, and an increase of 30 sub stat is converted to 0.03%. Since it is difficult to directly measure these values with a formula, the average value of the final damage increase effect extracted from Soma users with item conversion of 40,000 to 90,000 in Maple Scouter is used. The reason for selecting Soma is that it is my main job, but also because it is a standard job that is not biased towards specific stat efficiency.
○Calculation method:If a job has multiple synergies, they are added together to measure the final average synergy. The reason for using addition is that job coefficients and uptime are added to the calculation in average synergy, unlike burst synergy. Therefore, the synergy effect may be underestimated by about 0.05~0.1% compared to burst synergy.
3-2. How to measure average synergy (by job)
○Bishop: Based on a Bishop with 60,000 INT in town, 500% total stat, and level 285. The final damage increase rate of Prayer with Maple Warrior 2 stats applied is 26%, and the damage per increase rate of Libra is 40%. Other impractical buffs such as Resurrection are excluded.
○Bowmaster, Marksman: Bowmaster and Marksman reflect the 5% critical hit rate increase during Sharp Eyes Hyper, and exclude PDR Hyper. (Based on Namuwiki distribution) The 5% Hyper critical hit rate applies to all archers regardless of Seiram's Elixir.
○Adventurer Pirate:Pirate Flag AP 25% raises the main stat by 361 based on level 285, which is about 3.26% final damage effect.
○Cannon Shooter: Full Maker has a 33% uptime and a maximum of 4 boxes drop. However, since the buff must be obtained by pressing the up arrow key directly on the box, the uptime is modified to 23.33% by applying a 70% correction to the existing uptime, similar to conditional installations. Also, up to 4-man parties can receive 30% damage in full, and 6-man parties can only receive the 30% damage effect for 3 out of 5 people, so it is calculated as an average of 18%.
○Paladin:Combat Orders refers to the Combat Orders 2017 efficiency data measured by Naje Bulbul. Among these, the damage increase of mage jobs is overestimated due to Infinity before the rework, so the arithmetic average of the remaining jobs, 2.59%, is used as the final damage increase. (1 level increase compared to Combat Orders) The 2017 data may have large errors, but this method is used because there is no other measurement method.
○Kain:Incarnation has a damage per of up to 11,700%, but it is excluded because it is not a measurement target.
○Zero:Time Distortion has a basic cooldown of 240 seconds, but the uptime is measured based on 120 seconds by applying the Blessing of Transcendent Rhinne.
3-3. How to measure burst synergy
○If cases without Seiram's Elixir are added, the table becomes too long, so all cases are measured with Seiram's Elixir consumed. In other words, the real Sharp Eyes, Howling, and real Advanced Blessing effects excluding Hyper critical hit rate of Bowmaster and Marksman are excluded. ○Unlike average synergy, all final damage is multiplied. 4. Lastly
In order to write the synergy effects in detail, I have carefully read the patch notes and Namuwiki documents, and even conducted in-game experiments on certain parts and checked them several times. However, since I wrote all 46 jobs alone, there may be incorrect information. In this case, please let me know in the comments.
