Is Aida really strong? Evaluation, reviews, and how to use her - The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy
Aida was the character many users were most curious about.
If you use her without proper training, she couldn't be worse, but if you just read the options, it seemed like she would be a perfect character who does both damage and tanking when fully transcended and fully awakened. And Aida showed crazy performance in Eternal Sanctuary 5, so if it's faithful to the original, she can't be weak.
I also liked Aida so much, and when she was around 5 transcendence and 4 awakenings, I put in all my selection tickets to make her fully transcended, fully awakened, and perfectly trained. Here's my review:
★ Full Awakening - Full Transcendence Aida Review
- She doesn't die. She has the HP of two characters, so she's tougher than any tank. In fact, she can withstand the SS-rank Destruction Beam of Threatening Carnicos to some extent. The party might wipe, but Aida won't die.
- Damage dealing? Pretty strong. It's inevitable since she's attacking with two bodies... I'm using her as a tank-dealer in almost all raids.
- Synergy? Mana recovery - attack speed. Just a character with good synergies slapped on.
- Usage: Stages, Raids, Rifts, Abyss, long-term content like Spoons. Just put her in when you're unsure, and she'll do more than her share.
Nightmare difficulty 16-10 damage meter. Super Mile is at signature weapon full awakening full training state. Aida is almost on par with damage while tanking.
Guild Raid damage meter. Synergy is good and damage is decent.
★ Aida's Limitations
- Her damage is strong, but considering the resources and cost invested, is it worth it? Other dealers have become stronger with the transcendence patch, but Aida's main body, the doll, doesn't receive this benefit, so she's relatively nerfed. The actual feeling is the same. It feels like her damage dealing ability is not as good as the main dealers.
- Lack of party buff ability. A tank should have support abilities, but Aida doesn't. She just pushes through with pure stats. She doesn't have AoE damage ability either.
- Takes a very long time to warm up.
- Can't use Shannon, a powerful supporter. If she gets debuffed or an accident happens and the doll dies, that round is GG.
★ Conclusion
- She's definitely a good character. But in the current situation, she's not worth investing all your resources to pull.
- She's really ambiguous unless she's fully awakened and fully transcended. It's worth raising her if she naturally becomes fully awakened and fully transcended. But even in this situation, she's not a character worth raising forcefully (it's highly not recommended to pull her signature weapon just for Aida).
