Lee Sang-yoon, CEO of blockchain technology company Bloom Technology, announced that he was invited as an expert panelist at the '2024 AMSG High-Level Roundtable' held at 630 Second Avenue in New York on the 24th (local time) and promoted Locus Chain's technology to the world.

This event, hosted by AMSG (Africa Minerals Strategy Group), is an international event designed to discuss innovative ways to effectively manage and utilize Africa's vast natural resources, minerals, natural gas, and arable land.

The event was attended by key African heads of state and ministers, including Nigerian Vice President Kashim Shettima, Malawian President Lazarus Chakwera, Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio, and Liberian President Joseph Boakai, as well as representatives from international organizations, business people, and academic experts, who exchanged various opinions to promote sustainable development and economic development in Africa.

Lee Sang-yoon was the only blockchain company representative and Asian among the invited attendees, and was directly invited by AMSG to discuss ways to build a blockchain platform that transparently and efficiently manages the entire industry, from mining to refining and distribution of mineral resources.

CEO Lee Sang-yoon proposed ways to improve supply chain efficiency using blockchain technology, drawing great attention from attendees. In particular, the use of Locus Chain for natural resource management and distribution tracking, anti-corruption, and financing innovation was evaluated as greatly improving Africa's limited local situation, and in-depth discussions were held on specific cooperation plans.

CEO Lee Sang-yoon said, "Africa has a large amount of essential resources that form the basis for the development of high-tech industries such as batteries and semiconductors, so if a blockchain-based supply chain infrastructure is established, the industrial competitiveness of the entire Africa can be greatly improved." He added, "We will continue to have additional discussions so that the great interest shown in Locus Chain at the site can lead to actual blockchain projects."

Locus Chain is a next-generation blockchain protocol that effectively solves the decentralization, scalability, and security issues, which are well known as the blockchain trilemma. Locus Chain guarantees network stability in any environment through dynamic sharding, one of its own unique technologies, and minimizes node size by applying Verifiable Pruning, allowing node execution and ecosystem participation even on mini PCs and internet routers.

Locus Chain is known as a blockchain network suitable for large-scale projects that require scalability because anyone can operate a node at an affordable cost with a low barrier to entry, and stable and efficient network maintenance is possible. Locus Chain has completed registration of a total of 5 blockchain technology patents, including 'Node distribution system and method in a blockchain network,' and in July, it successfully applied 'Dynamic Sharding' technology to an online game for the first time in the world, receiving great attention from the industry.
