League of Legends, Arcane-based new champion 'Ambessa' revealed
Riot Games has revealed the new champion 'Ambessa' for their PC MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game 'League of Legends (LoL)'.
Ambessa, who appeared in season 1 of 'Arcane', will appear as a LoL champion ahead of the release of season 2. Players can enjoy powerful gameplay by appropriately utilizing Ambessa's passive effect and skills to quickly join team fights and defeat enemies.
While Ambessa is using a skill, performing a basic attack or moving will trigger 'Hound of War Gait', causing her to dash a short distance. Using a skill generally increases basic attack stats and restores energy, dealing significant damage in an instant.
She also possesses aggressive skills that lead the fight. 'Treacherous Sweep (Q)' sweeps forward to strike enemies, then switches the skill to 'Ruinous Cleave (Q)'. At this time, she slams down her weapon to deal additional damage. ▲'Repudiation (W)' grants a shield and slams the ground to attack enemies. ▲'Rend (E)' swings her weapon to deal damage and slow enemies, and an additional strike is dealt when the passive effect is activated, maximizing damage.
Using the ultimate skill 'Public Execution (R)' causes Ambessa to move to and suppress the enemy champion furthest away in a straight line. She then slams the enemy champion to the ground, dealing damage and stunning them, instantly disrupting the opponent's front line and leading the team fight to an advantage.
Riot Games' game designer 'Max Perlman' said, "We designed the champion while considering what Ambessa from 'Arcane' would look like on the actual battlefield," and added, "I hope you experience Ambessa's unique combat style of leading the team with active skills."
Starting today (October 23rd), players can experience Ambessa and the 'Howling Abyss', which has been renewed with the Arcane Season 2 theme, through the LoL Public Beta Environment. More details can be found on the official LoL website.
