Preservation Evoker (Healer) Absolute Beginner Combo Guide

For those who only want to see the skill combos.

Detailed explanations are at the bottom. If you're curious about the principles, it's recommended to read or watch the full video.

Let's read this:

The skill 'Time Anomaly' combined with the 'Resonating Orb' trait is used instead of the >>Echo<< skill.

When casting Time Anomaly, a round orb is fired in a straight line, and Echo is applied to all party members who are hit by it.

Basic (기본)

Basic Combo:

- Time Anomaly -> Rewind

AoE Heal:

- Time Anomaly -> Rewind -> Dream Breath or Spiritbloom full charge

Single Target Heal Combo:

i) Big Heal: Time Anomaly -> Rewind -> Verdant Embrace -> Living Flame (empowered)

ii) Small Heal: Time Anomaly -> Rewind

iii) If you're lost or have nothing to cast: Time Anomaly -> Rewind -> Spiritbloom 1 stack -> Fire Breath (hit the mob, the more the better)

External:

- Temporal Anomaly (50% of damage taken is distributed over 10 seconds)

In tough healing sections:

- Stasis -> Time Anomaly (3 healing skills you want to include. At this time, distinguish whether to charge to 1 stage, 2 stages, or full charge) -> Use Stasis within 30 seconds

3 heals to put inside Stasis for beginners => Time Anomaly, Spiritbloom full charge, Dream Breath full charge. (Using Time Anomaly twice in total)

For accident prevention:

- When really urgent: Time Anomaly -> Rewind ->- Rewind (Returns 40% of the damage taken by all allies within 40m over the past 5 seconds)

- Time Anomaly -> Rewind -> Reversion - Use Dream Breath. (Reversion = Dream Breath, Fire Breath, Eternity Surge, Spiritbloom, Earthen Scales are cast instantly with full empowerment)

Advanced(심화)

Alpha and Omega=Lifebind (trait, passive)

Lifebind: Verdant Embrace temporarily binds your life force with an ally. When you or the ally receives healing, the bound target recovers 40% of the healing effect received, lasting for 5 seconds.

1. Using 'Verdant Embrace' applies the 'Lifebind' buff.

At this time, 40% of the amount healed to party member A comes to you (40 returns from 100), and 40% of your self-healing goes to A.

Combo: Time Anomaly -> Verdant Embrace = Verdant Embrace is applied to all party members hit by Time Anomaly = Lifebind is also applied to multiple people -> Rewind

2.Emerald Communion:

Commune with the Emerald Dream, restoring 20% health and 2% mana every 0.09 seconds for 4.3 seconds, and transferring overhealing to injured allies within 40m. Can be cast while stunned, disoriented, incapacitated, or silenced.

* Healing is only transferred to allies when you are at full health.

Combo: Time Anomaly -> Verdant Embrace -> Emerald Communion = Super AoE heal

* If you want to AoE heal with Lifebind, you need to heal >yourself<.

The healing shared by Lifebind, the effect of Verdant Embrace, shares all healing from healthstones, Healing Surge, and Living Flame.

In other words, even if I only eat healthstones and Healing Surge when other people's healing skills are on cooldown, it heals the party. So how well you use Lifebind = the alpha and omega of Preservation Evoker.

Application

- Stasis doesn't only include healing skills = if you use Stasis and then cleanse the target (unconsciously), you lose one healing skill to put in Stasis.

So, when dispelling the Venomous Puncture Beetle's poison in the City of Threads, use Stasis and dispel (cast on different party members ABC) --> When using Stasis again, it dispels the same party members again.

- Emerald Blossom has poor healing efficiency and is a waste of essence. Don't use it. Maybe press it a few times during raids when doing some AoE healing?

Key Skills: Echo, Time Anomaly, Rewind, Spiritbloom, Dream Breath

Defensive: Rewind

Cooldown: Stasis

Preservation Evoker's healing starts => starts with Echo.

Use after applying Echo to all heals.

Reason: The healing spell is additionally cast on that ally, restoring health equal to 105% of the normal healing amount.

Simply put: If I throw Living Flame at a target with Echo, Living Flame is cast twice.

If Echo is applied to party members A and B

Even if I use Living Flame on A, it goes to B= If Echo is applied to all targets, a single heal skill will heal everyone during AoE damage.

But Echo consumes 2 essence, and Dragon Essence only has 5 = it's not enough to apply Echo to everyone.

So, we use the skill >Time Anomaly< + the trait >Resonating Orb<.

Time Anomaly: Fires an orb that travels straight forward

Resonating Orb: Applies Echo to all targets hit by the orb

==> If you apply Time Anomaly to all members of a Mythic+ party or raid, you can fill their health bars with a single heal skill!

What should I do after applying Echo?

=> You need to apply Rewind to the party members.

What is Rewind? => Instantly heals 15% of the damage taken over the past 5 seconds, and additionally restores 250,000 health over 15.6 seconds.

+ Graceful Time trait (increases healing by 10% on targets with your Rewind)

+ If a critical hit occurs, the healing maximization effect increases further, so Rewind is applied for up to 27 seconds (calculated)

= It's like applying a HoT.

The next heal depends on the situation. You need to judge the variables yourself.

Single Target / AoE / Big Damage / DoT

Dream Breath:

Short charge: weak instant heal, strong HoT

Long charge: strong instant heal, weak HoT

In other words, the total healing amount is the same, but it depends on whether you want to fill the health bar instantly or apply a DoT.

In other words, DoT = short

Burst AoE damage = long

@@@

Spiritbloom = short charge = 1 person, the longer you charge, the more people (up to 3)

Useful in Mythic+

Conclusion: AoE Heal = Dream Breath or Spiritbloom full charge (of course, Echo + Rewind is essential beforehand)

Single Target Heal (Echo and Rewind already applied) =

  1. Apply External (Temporal Anomaly)

Temporal Anomaly = Distributes 50% of the damage the target takes over 10 seconds.

  1. Apply instant heal

Big Heal

Living Flame talent, Rewind has a chance to make your next Living Flame instant cast and do 50% more damage or healing.

+

Ysera's Gift talent: Verdant Embrace increases the healing of your next Dream Breath by 40% or the effect of your next Living Flame by 100%.

+ Verdant Embrace skill

= Instant cast heal (big heal)

Small Heal

Moment of Life talent: Casting Rewind instantly heals the target for 15% of the damage they have taken over the past 5 seconds

Echo + Rewind = Small Heal (always maintained)

  1. When there's nothing else to do

Echo (Rewind) + Spiritbloom 1 stack (single target) + Fire Breath

Reason for using Fire Breath: 'Flame of Life' talent:To use the effect of healing up to 5 injured allies around you for 80% of the damage dealt to up to 5 targets.

It would be even better if you get the instant Living Flame effect, right?

=> Healing still doesn't work even after doing this

Utilize Stasis, Rewind

Stasis allows you to put 3 skills inside Stasis and use them again. Time limit 30 seconds.

= Casts the 3 skills I used in one GCD

=> Stasis + Time Anomaly + (3 healing skills you want to include, you can use Time Anomaly again)

For example, assuming you used Dream Breath and Spiritbloom

After that, when you think you need to heal up, press Stasis

Time Anomaly Dream Breath Echo are cast simultaneously with one press.

??? What's good to put inside Stasis?

The guides that come out on the WoW community are all different. Because what they think is good is different

Also, even if you follow those posts, you may have to heal differently depending on the situation

The standard combo is Time Anomaly + Spiritbloom (full combo), Dream Breath (full combo)

Rewind:

Rewind: Returns 40% of the damage taken by all allies within 40m over the past 5 seconds.

For accident prevention. Echo + Rewind + Rewind

Save it.

Oh, I accidentally used Rewind and an accident happened;;;

Use Reversion

Reversion = Dream Breath, Fire Breath, Eternity Surge, Spiritbloom, Earthen Scales are cast instantly with full empowerment

Echo -> Rewind -> Reversion (Dream Breath)

This is the basic!

Advanced Process

Alpha and Omega = Lifebind (trait, passive)

Lifebind: Verdant Embrace temporarily binds your life force with an ally. When you or the ally receives healing, the bound target recovers 40% of the healing effect received, lasting for 5 seconds.

  1. Using Verdant Embrace applies the Lifebind buff

In this situation, 40% of the amount healed to party member A comes to you (40 returns from 100)

40% of your self-healing goes to A

Combo => Time Anomaly (Echo) + Verdant Embrace = Verdant Embrace is applied to all party members hit by Time Anomaly = Lifebind is also applied to multiple people

  • Emerald Communion.

Commune with the Emerald Dream, restoring 20% health and 2% mana every 0.09 seconds for 4.3 seconds, and transferring overhealing to injured allies within 40m.

Can be cast while stunned, disoriented, incapacitated, or silenced

=> Healing is only transferred to allies when you are at full health

Time Anomaly + Verdant Embrace + Communion = Super AoE heal

  • If you want to AoE heal with Lifebind, you need to heal >yourself<

The healing shared by Lifebind, the effect of Verdant Embrace, shares all healing from healthstones, Healing Surge, and Living Flame.

In other words, even if I only eat healthstones and Healing Surge when other people's healing skills are on cooldown, it heals the party

So how well you use Lifebind = the alpha and omega of Preservation Evoker.

Stasis -> Cleanse -> Searing Flame

Cleanse and Searing Flame do not go on cooldown unless the skill is dispelled.

But Stasis doesn't only include healing skills = if you use Stasis and then cleanse the target (unconsciously), you lose one Stasis

However, when dispelling the Venomous Puncture Beetle's poison in the City of Threads

Use Stasis and dispel (cast on different party members ABC) -> When using Stasis again, it dispels the same party members again.

Emerald Blossom has poor healing efficiency and is a waste of essence. Don't use it. Maybe press it a few times during raids when doing some AoE healing?

Don't need to use it in Mythic+
