The 2025 MSI will be held in Canada, and Worlds will be held in Chengdu, China.
The locations for all international League of Legends tournaments in 2025 have been revealed.
Chris Greeley, Global Head of Strategy for League of Legends Esports, announced the locations for all three international League of Legends tournaments next year at the Worlds 2024 Media Day event on the 1st. First Stand will be held at LoL Park in Korea, MSI in Canada, and Worlds in Chengdu, China.
Chris Greeley announced that MSI 2025 will be held in Canada, saying, "We are pleased to announce that MSI will be held in Canada after the end of the second split. We are very excited to be able to showcase an international tournament to North American fans again after a long hiatus of League of Legends tournaments in Canada."
Regarding Worlds 2025 in Chengdu, China, he said, "Thanks to the amazing atmosphere, passionate fanbase, and excellent hospitality we saw at MSI 2024, we believe Chengdu is the ideal location for the next Worlds. This city has proven to be the perfect stage for international competition," expressing his high expectations for holding another international tournament in Chengdu, China.
