Mewtwo Deck is a powerful deck that utilizes Gardevoir to deal 150 damage every turn from the mid-game onward.
If you've successfully evolved Ralts - Kirlia - Gardevoir on your bench, you can attach Energy to your Pokémon on the battlefield every turn!
· Gardevoir’s ability allows you to attach 1 Energy to a Pokémon on the battlefield each turn.
· Mewtwo ex is a Basic Pokémon card, which increases the chance of drawing it in your starting hand, helping you hold out in the early game.
· However, since the deck heavily relies on Gardevoir, failing to evolve it by the mid-game increases the risk of Mewtwo ex being overwhelmed.
· In the early turns, deploy Mewtwo ex on the battlefield and attach Energy to sustain it (utilize Potion).
· Rapidly evolve Ralts → Kirlia → Gardevoir on your bench.
· Use Gardevoir’s ability to pump Energy into Mewtwo, and in subsequent turns, continue using Gardevoir’s ability and basic Energy attachments to repeatedly use the 4-Energy move.
· The most standard and stable Mewtwo deck.
· Use the high HP of Mewtwo ex to survive the early game until Gardevoir evolves.
· The choice between 2 Bede, 1 Shōren or 1 Bede, 2 Shōren is up to preference (focus on offense vs. versatility).
· A variant that includes Meowth to draw more cards into your hand faster.
· While having a large hand is advantageous, be cautious of your opponent’s Red Card disrupting your strategy.
· A build that includes Jynx to disrupt opponents relying on Energy-gathering Pokémon.
· Once Gardevoir is set up, Jynx can immediately use its moves when deployed to the battlefield.
· A deck designed to counter opponents using Shōren.
· Set up Fossils on your bench to protect Gardevoir if your opponent uses Shōren.
· Fossils are treated as Basic Pokémon but are Item cards, so they won’t clog your starting hand.
· Any type of Fossil can be used / their HP is 40.
