Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun, Kim Jung-wook) has released the first gameplay video of 'ARC Raiders', a new PvPvE survival action shooter being developed by its subsidiary Embark Studios (CEO Patrick Söderlund), on the 13th.

'ARC Raiders' is a PvPvE survival action shooter game set in a future Earth that has been devastated by the appearance of deadly mechanical lifeforms called 'ARC'. Players become 'raiders' and must cooperate or compete with other players on the dangerous surface, using various gadgets and weapons to fight intelligent enemies and retrieve survival supplies to return to the underground. The global technical test conducted on Steam at the end of October was well-received for its immersive implementation of a unique retro-futurism art style and science fiction world.

This new video contains gameplay footage taken during the previous technical test. In particular, this is the first time that actual gameplay has been revealed, and the 6-minute video shows 'raiders' teaming up in the 'Buried City' map to collect the quest objectives, the 'Seed Vault' and medicine, and return. The video features tense scenes of combat with various 'ARC' machines, such as the giant quadrupedal machine 'Bison', the small 'Tick' that becomes momentarily transparent, and the 'Rocketeer' that fires powerful rockets, as well as communication and gunfights with other 'raiders'.

Alexander Grondal, Executive Producer of 'ARC Raiders', said, "Through this test, we obtained valuable feedback and data from users around the world, and confirmed positive evaluations of the atmosphere and immersion of the world we created." He added, "Based on this, we plan to improve optimization and balance, and provide a deeper gameplay experience by adding new areas, quests, and various 'ARC'."

Meanwhile, 'ARC Raiders' will be exhibiting a video at G-STAR 2024, which will be held from the 14th. At the Nexon booth at G-STAR, you will be able to watch in-game videos featuring the beautiful environments, thrilling battles, and stealth gameplay of 'ARC Raiders' on a giant screen.
