Changing your iOS Country/Region, Creating a Wallet" GameFi101 (3/5)

You can use blockchain games on iOS devices like iPhones and iPads by simply changing the region of your iOS account! If you've chosen a VPN and have a foreign account (Google, iOS) ready, I'll show you how to sign up for the widely used wallet, "Metamask"!



1. Run the App Store app and click the My Info icon in the upper right corner

 

 

 

2. Click the name and email of the account shown (logged in) and then click Country/Region

 

 

 

3. Change the region by clicking on a country other than Korea, China, or Japan

 

 

 

4. Enter your credit card, name, and address sequentially, which is one of the processes you did when you first created your App Store account

 

 

 

5. Once you have entered all the items in step 4, you can change the region and download, install, and update P2E games

 




The personal wallet Metamask is a wallet that can store Ethereum-based tokens. You can receive/send tokens from others, and you can also buy/store NFTs from NFT sales sites. Especially in the case of blockchain games, many require the address of a personal wallet when minting before the game opens. Metamask is often used at this time.

 

Metamask can be installed as a Chrome extension, or you can download and install the app on your mobile.

 

 

■ How to install on PC

  

1. Go to https://metamask.io/ and download Metamask registered in the Google extension program

 


  

2. Run and start Metamask installed in the Google extension program

 




  

3. Click the Create Wallet button to create a new password

 


 


 

 

4. Watch the video on protecting your wallet (optional), then remember the secret recovery phrase consisting of 11 words and enter them in order

 


 


 


 

 

5. This secret recovery phrase is required when you re-login later or log in newly from another PC,
You should never tell anyone. (Very important!)

 


  

6. When you have completed all the above steps, the Metamask wallet creation is complete, and you can now store Ethereum tokens.

 


 

 

■ Connecting to a network

 

The created Metamask wallet can only store Ethereum tokens, and you must add a network to store other tokens. You can add a new network by clicking Ethereum Mainnet on the right - Add Network button.

 

For example, to add the Klaytn network, enterKlaytn Mainnetin the network name, and in the New RPC URL,https://public-node-api.klaytnapi.com/v1/cypressenter, in Chain ID8217enter, in Currency SymbolKLAY, in Block Explorer URLhttps://scope.klaytn.comto complete the addition of the Klaytn network.

 

By adding the Klaytn network, you can use it to trade NFTs on sites such as OpenSea.
