Dimensional Tower in 11 minutes?! Speedrunner's useful tips: Preventing early resets or efficient routes

 

 

 Some tips that may help those who have never tried the Tower of Dimension before when attempting it for the first time

I've compiled some tips (to prevent early game frustration) and (protect your sanity)

4. Chicken Footrest (Eye)


 

 

 

5. If the terrain has two lines and you go down, you will get hit.

If you go on the red line, you won't get hit if you crouch when Gorgon attacks.

 

 

 

 

6. If you go to the left, there is a standard route that takes 30 seconds, I added it for fun

7. This is the guy that sends you back to the beginning.

Go up to the yellow terrain when it's not attacking (you're safe after you go up, don't worry) Don't jump

If you jump too far forward, you'll go up to the red, so step on the end and ride the yellow terrain

If you go up to the round area (red), you'll get hit and go back to the beginning

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. This is the guy that sends you back to the second beginning.

If you look closely at arrow 1, there is a slight scratch on the terrain, if you go further, you will fall immediately

Align your character's head with the end line and jump comfortably with enough space behind you

After jumping, crouch and go forward in time, and you won't get hit until you reach the green box

 

 

 

 

 

 

9. Mugong Shortcut




 

10. The best and most important tip is to use momentum wherever you can

Use when the terrain is moving or slipping


1) Press the direction key and jump (jump at your movement speed)

 

 

 

2) Release the direction key and jump (jump at the terrain's movement speed)

 

 

 

3) Accelerate with the direction key, then release the direction key and jump (inertia jump)

 

 

 

 

11. If you stand still in the yellow box, you can take the Golem Super Jump shortcut

You won't get hit by attacks up to the green box next to your feet

Golem Terrain >> The wind is blowing, so go up in advance << Adjust the direction, or

You can go between both feet with the right timing

You won't go back to the beginning if you get hit elsewhere, it just won't be a shortcut

 

 

 

 

 

 

12. You can go up vertically +

When jumping from the piano > You can press and hold the direction key and jump

Even if the timing is a little early or late, you can pass by pressing and holding all the way (believe in yourself)

After that, it's easier to just step on the two wide notes

These were some small tips..

 

After taking 8 days to record a speedrun of 12 minutes and 45 seconds, I went in to just taste it after a long time and got competitive


I'm going to throw in a full video of me almost getting into the 11-minute range..

Theoretically, it was a run that could have been 11 minutes and 55 seconds, it's a shame ㅠ I don't think I'll try anymore
