Gyarados Deck" Composition and Playstyle (Supreme Celestial, Gyarados ex, Origin Palkia, Greninja, Articuno ex)
The new Gyarados ex card from Phantom Island is a powerful Pokémon with 180 HP and can deal 140 damage.
However, it has the disadvantage of requiring 4 energy and not being able to defeat Mewtwo ex in one hit.
Various sub-Pokémon are used to compensate for this.
🚨 The combination of the Twilight Masquerade expansion pack has been reflected!
✅Gyarados Deck Features
· Powerful Gyarados ex with 180 HP and 140 damage
· Can one-turn KO major Pokémon ex such as Celebi ex, and can also one-turn KO Mewtwo ex when combined with Giovanni
· Requires 4 energy, so the assistance of sub-Pokémon such as tanks is needed
✅How to Operate the Gyarados Deck
· Put sub-Pokémon on the battlefield and nurture Gyarados ex on the bench
· Use the Phantom Island version of Magikarp in case the first basic Pokémon is only Magikarp
· Additional bench setup is required to prevent Erika's Invitation from pulling out Magikarp with low HP or Gyarados with high retreat cost
· Attach energy, keeping in mind that your energy may be trashed due to the Gyarados ex's skill effect
1️⃣Gyarados ex + Origin Palkia + Manaphy Deck
👍 Recommended : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A deck that fills the lacking mid-game stability of the existing Gyarados deck with Origin Palkia
· Supply energy to Gyarados ex and Origin Palkia with Manaphy
· Operate the mid-game with Origin Palkia until Gyarados ex is ready
· 1-1-2 point strategy of Manaphy - Origin Palkia - Gyarados ex

2️⃣Gyarados ex + Grimmsnarl Deck
· Organize 3 tank Pokémon with 2 Grimmsnarl + 1 Kangaskhan
· Focus on completing Gyarados by increasing tanks
· Improved stability with Rocky Helmet and Zhu Hui, which increase survivability and have good synergy with Grimmsnarl

3️⃣Gyarados ex + Greninja + Grimmsnarl Deck
· Organize Grimmsnarl as a tank to buy time to nurture Gyarados ex
· Support Mewtwo ex attacks or bench Pokémon harassment with Greninja
· Disadvantage is that the hand becomes somewhat complicated due to the large number of Pokémon

4️⃣Gyarados ex + Articuno ex + Vaporeon Deck
· Deploy Articuno in the early stages and nurture Vaporeon and Gyarados ex in the rear
· Send the completed Gyarados to the battlefield and move energy with Vaporeon's characteristic to attack
· Use the Phantom Island version of Magikarp, which is advantageous for retreat, and any version of Eevee is possible
· Articuno can be changed to 2 Articuno ex or 2 regular Articuno depending on preference
