Let's take a look back at the 4th job advancement, the Sekhema Trial.

Hello.I'm a user playing the game in SSF.

Since SSF doesn't allow parties or trading, you have to do everything alone, including the 4th job advancement.

So, I'm writing about the Trials for those people.

The 4th job advancement is content taken from the previous work's Sanctuary, where you have to clear the Trial of Sekhema (hereinafter referred to as the Trial).

You can also do the 4th job advancement in the Trial of Chaos (hereinafter referred to as the Decisive Battle), but I think the Trial is a little easier, so I think you'll do the job advancement through the Trial. (I also did the 4th job advancement through the Trial.)

The TrialChanges certain elements every round, and you can't retry if you die.

Also, a resource unique to the Trial called Honor is added, so users must manage Honor as well as health.

Before I start writing, let me introduce my Deadeye who will clear the Trial.

Before the Trial, be sure to equip a Finish Blow gem on a skill that can be used quickly, like a basic attack.

1. Regarding the relics to acquire during the job advancement Trial.

Before entering the Trial, users can challenge the Trial with stronger specs than usual by possessing relics that have beneficial effects for the user.

The effects of these relics are various, and the ones you must acquire are as follows.

Essential Survival Gear:Honor Resistance 50or more

Honor Resistance is an option that reduces the Honor lost when hit.

Honor Resistance can basically be obtained up to 75, and you can get up to 90 by equipping relics that increase the maximum Honor Resistance. But you don't need that much resistance, and I recommend about 50. Even less than 50 is fine.

The minimum I think is 30.

Additional Survival Gear

If my character is based on health: Increased maximum health

If my character is based on energy shield: Increased armor

Since energy shield is also included in the defense gear, using relics that increase armor by 40% will also increase the energy shield by 40%.

Summary: If the survival gear is health, then maximum health, if the survival gear is energy shield, then adopt a small number of armor increase relics

The relics I'm wearing are as follows.

I'm playing Deadeye, and I'm short on maximum health, so I slightly increased maximum health and movement speed.

Also, I thought it would be nice to have a merchant, so I added a merchant choice and

I also adopted a relic that increases the damage taken by monsters because I wanted the monsters to die before I die.

2. Types of rewards in the Trial map

The types of rewards are as follows.

Appearance of a sacred water fountain (including large ones) - Obtain sacred water.

Sacred water is a resource used in the Trial. By using this resource, users can purchase various boons to increase their specs during the Trial.

Merchant appearance - The merchant sells goods.

If you have obtained sacred water from the sacred water fountain above, you can buy items from the merchant.

The price of the items is basically around 280~420, and the price can increase or decrease due to various factors.

The merchant basically recovers a small amount of Honor (about 200) and sells relics and boons.

The merchant always appears in the reward room when clearing a boss.

Keys (Gold, Silver, Bronze) - Obtain keys.

Keys are resources used to open reward chests after clearing a boss.

Gold is the rarest.

You don't have to worry too much about anything other than gold.

Appearance of storage boxes (Gold, Silver, Bronze) - Storage boxes using the corresponding keys appear.

It doesn't mean much unless it's an old / magnificent gold storage box.

Appearance of shrines - Specific shrines appear.

Shrine that restores Honor

Shrine that greatly restores Honor but gains Affliction

Shrine that restores Honor and gains a Boon

Shrine that greatly restores Honor, removes 1 Affliction, and gives 1 Boon

There are 4 types like this.

I don't recommend using the shrine that gains Affliction unless you're so short on Honor that you only have 1.

Appearance of Covenant

Kocha's Covenant appears, which can adjust the variables of the Trial.

This will be described later.

The points to note in the Trial are the same as what everyone thinks.

Avoiding the lesser of two evils and paths where only one is determined as much as possible.

Since there are people who don't know which Affliction is the worst or the lesser of two evils,The Afflictions that users should avoid as much as possible are as follows.

1. Deceiving Mirror: Randomly move to a room that was not selected with a certain probability

The Trial requires users to make rational choices, but if you have this Affliction, even the choices are randomly changed, so you may not be able to draw the picture you want.

2. Slander: Obtain 1 additional auxiliary Affliction when acquiring an Affliction

It's like adding insult to injury. Moreover, since the Affliction obtained as an auxiliary is random, the mirror above may be applied.

3. Purple Smoke: Afflictions cannot be checked on the Trial map

There are Afflictions that are irrelevant, Afflictions that can be considered, and Afflictions that should not be selected, but not being able to check them will greatly hinder rational choices.

↑ The friends here are commonly referred to as TOP.

If all three of these appear in the choices, it's easier to just retry.

(If it were me, I would choose number 3 and die after going a little further.)

(Of course, it doesn't matter if it comes out at the end of the 4th floor.)

1. Old Sandals: 40% reduced movement speed

It will be difficult to avoid the last boss's patterns.

2. Black Smoke: 1 less room that can be viewed in advance on the Trial map

Basically, users can see 2 squares ahead, but if you choose this Affliction, you can only see right in front, 1 square ahead.

Then it will be difficult to avoid Afflictions and draw a good map.

3. A set of 3 Afflictions that eliminate my defense gear (no armor, no energy shield, no evasion)

It wouldn't be good to have an Affliction that completely eliminates the energy shield for someone with 1 health, right..?

No armor for an armor warrior, or no evasion for an evasion-based archer, etc.

If the 3 sets at the top and this come out, I think I'll just choose this unless it's energy shield based.

*Conversely, if I'm a warrior, choices like no energy shield and no evasion would be good because there are not many penalties, right?

4. Golden Smoke: Rewards cannot be checked on the Trial map

You have to find merchants and stuff, but it will be a little difficult if you can't check the rewards.

5. Customary Demand: The merchant only offers 1 choice.

Since the merchant always appears after the 1st to 3rd floor bosses, this choiceIt will be a bit difficult if it comes out on the 1st floor.

6. Expensive Aid: When worshiping the Marrakesh Shrine, obtain 1 random auxiliary Affliction

If you have this Affliction, worshiping the shrine (an action that restores Honor) becomes an Affliction acquisition machine.

↑ The friends here are the ones you have to choose when you really have to choose them while crying and eating mustard.

(Of course, it won't be a big problem if it's the last floor of the 4th floor. Except for the sandals.)

There are other fatal Afflictions, and there may be fatal Afflictions that I can't remember.

Affliction Summary

Reduce Variables

Minor Tip) Avoid 1-way Streets

A 1-way street is like this.

I'm going this way, and there's a merchant on the way.

But if you choose the merchant, the way to go is determined to be only one place, so if there is a fatal Affliction right in front of the merchant, there is no way to avoid it, so I don't go to the road with the merchant, but I go to the upper road.

I was lucky this time. There were no fatal Afflictions in front.

But unless it's a really attractive choice (rainbow fountain, etc.), I recommend avoiding 1-way streets.

In addition, I will talk more about Kocha's Covenant.

Kocha's Covenant is a function that allows you to change some parts of the Trial.

If you have obtained a really fatal Affliction, or if you have no boons at all, you must find Kocha's Covenant to adjust the variables of the Trial.

Kocha's representative Covenants are as follows.

Remove Boon / Remove Affliction (Random)

Acquire Boon / Take certain damage

Acquire Boon / Acquire Affliction (Random)

Acquire Main Boon / Acquire Main Affliction

Complex function (Damage reduction from bosses / Damage amplification from non-bosses, etc.)

The point to note here isAcquire Boon / Acquire Affliction (Random).

Users are aiming for the great chapter of the 4th job advancement, so taking Afflictions randomly to get random Boons is really not a good thing to do. Users should reduce the variables as much as possible, so if there is nothing useful, it is better to just cancel and go back to the way you were going.

However, if you get a really fatal Affliction in the early stages, it is better to go to Kocha's Covenant and try to remove the Affliction.

When removing an Affliction, it may require a Boon, so you must have about one Boon to use for removal.

Kocha's Covenant Summary

Random Affliction ← Don't choose it

Trial Total Summary

1. Avoid 1-way streets as much as possible. Choose the lesser of two evils for Afflictions

2. After adopting >> Finish Blow << for skills that have a short cooldown and can be used quickly, use it when it's about 5% to finish it quickly

I ended up writing a little long about obvious things.

I will end the article here and finish by running the Trial.
