Item grades include Normal/Magic/Rare/Unique. In this basic crafting guide, you only need a normal item with a white name. If you are crafting your own equipment, weapon priority is high, so you will craft weapons first. We recommend weapon levels of 2/18/36/55/81 or higher. Since the skill level of the equipment increases, we recommend level 36 equipment over level 34 equipment.

And you need to check the basic stats of the basic normal item, such as high damage or high critical hit. Decide what stats you prioritize and get a normal item that matches it.

The Orb of Evolution is an orb that changes a normal item into a magic item. It is an orb that naturally gathers as you level, farm, and complete quests. The Orb of Evolution was made to be crafted, so it is not used for any other purpose. POE2 is pushing the crafting system, so using it consistently is not a waste.

Once you have changed it to a magic item, check the prefixes and suffixes of the equipment. Check if the option you want is attached to the prefix and suffix for each piece of equipment. Magic items have a total of 2 lines of options: 1 prefix and 1 suffix. If you are short on Orbs of Evolution, you can get unidentified magic items in advance. There are cases where magic items have essential options than rare items, so you can get magic items first and proceed with crafting.

An orb that randomly grants new properties to magic items. If you don't get the option you want after using the Orb of Evolution, use it until you get it. Before moving on to rare, consume the Orb of Augmentation and pray that the option comes out.

However, you can no longer use the Orb of Augmentation once there are 2 lines of options. In other words, if the magic item option already has 2 lines, you cannot use the Orb of Augmentation, and if you use the Orb of Augmentation on a magic item with 1 line, you cannot use the Orb of Augmentation again because it has 2 lines. So, use the Orb of Augmentation on a magic item that has 1 line of the required option.

If you get the option you want, upgrade the magic item to rare. Once you change it to rare, you can't undo it, and the number of Regal Orbs is not large, so judge whether it is the best option before using it.

The last step is to use the Exalted Orb. Grants up to 6 random properties to rare items. 3 prefixes and 3 suffixes are attached. Note that the Exalted Orb is an important orb used as a base currency, so it is recommended not to use it a lot and save it.
