Use the top efficiently! POE2 Mapping Guide
The key is to increase the supply of keystones through Atlas passives and keystone orb crafting.

▣ 6 portals but only 1 life
In POE1, if you died during the endgame, you lost 1 portal and could try again, but in POE2, all portals disappear once you die. You can return to refill potions or empty your inventory and re-enter, but be careful because if you die, they just disappear.
▣ Priority 1 is securing Atlas passives, clear quests
When you first enter the endgame, you should prioritize quests. Atlas passive points are awarded for completing sequential quests such as completing 10 tier 1 maps and completing 10 tier 2 maps.
Doriany sells tier 1 keystones, so if you're short, buy them for 5000 gold. Other keystones are not restocked once purchased. The store list is reset each time you level up, so it's a good idea to check it carefully.
Also, you can combine 3 of the same keystones at the 'Reforging Bench' to get a keystone of one tier higher. However, this method becomes less efficient as the tier of the keystone increases, so it is better to use it at a lower tier.
▣ Learn the map legend, unlock the hideout first!
You can check the map legend by hovering the cursor over 'i' in the upper left corner of the screen. If you click 'i' once, the window is fixed, so you can read the detailed explanations for each legend.
First, understand the basic concept that the white circle is where you can go, and the green circle is where you have completed. In addition, if there is a unique pattern on the ground, it is a node with specific content, increased monster level, or boss appearance.
Since there is an element called 'Forerunner Tower' in the endgame of POE2, prioritize clearing places without these unique patterns. Instead, unlocking the 'Hideout' makes the game play much easier, so it's better to open it as soon as possible.
▣ Clear the tower and use the tablet! But be careful of bugs
To maximize the effect of the node, you must clear the 'Forerunner Tower' and use the tablet. The tablet is a device that exerts influence on uncleared nodes around the tower and adds special effects. Rather than activating the tablet unconditionally, it is better to clear normal nodes that have no effect and aim for better rewards.
If you click on the tower, the range of influence of the tower is displayed, so clean up the surroundings, leaving only the nodes with the content you want. In some hideouts, the range may not appear due to a bug, so move to another location to check.
In addition, since you can receive more than one effect from the tablet, it is a good idea to find intersection points where Forerunner Towers overlap. However, the effects due to the fixed attributes of the tablet do not stack, and only the effects due to prefixes and suffixes can be added.
The important thing to note is that there is currently a serious bug when using the tablet. If you clear two towers with overlapping ranges without using the tablet, the window for inserting the tablet will not open at all in the second tower. In addition, even if you insert the tablet into the first tower and activate it, an error message 'The specified map is invalid' is displayed and you cannot use the tablet. Many people are experiencing the same phenomenon overseas, so be careful.
▣ How do I return to the endgame map?
New exiles who have just entered the endgame may be confused when they try to return after visiting another place. In this case, instead of selecting the endgame on the world map, click on 'Ziggurat Refuge (Past)' in Act 3 (Cruel). You can use the map device even if you move to the hideout, but as mentioned earlier, there is a bug that the range of the tower is not visible, so it is better to go here.
