Notch "Making a completely new game, not Minecraft 2"

📒- Notch's next game is a first-person dungeon crawler roguelike 'Levers and Chests'
- Gamers are showing great interest in the new game
- The Minecraft sequel news to Microsoft
Minecraft creator Markus 'Notch' Persson's next game will likely be a completely new title, not 'Minecraft 2 (tentative)'.
On the 2nd, Notch conducted a survey on his official SNS to choose one of two games related to the new game to be developed in the future. One is a game that combines traditional roguelike and first-person dungeon crawler, and the other is the official sequel to Minecraft, so-called 'Minecraft 2'. A total of 286,961 people participated in the survey, drawing a lot of attention from gamers. The vote resulted in a victory for 'Minecraft 2'. It recorded an overwhelming 81.5%, raising expectations for the new work.
In the midst of the unabated interest and enthusiasm for 'Minecraft 2', on the 7th, Notch suddenly announced that he had decided to develop a first-person dungeon crawler roguelike, which was another candidate, instead of 'Minecraft 2' as his new work, drawing attention. The title of the new game under development appears to be 'Levers and Chests'. In response, Notch said, "I talked to my colleagues in the office. I think we're going to make 'Levers and Chests'," expressing confidence that it would be a game on a scale larger than Minecraft.
Notch then released a screenshot of 'Levers and Chests' currently in development. As it was a single screenshot, it was not possible to confirm many things, but it was possible to confirm that it was a first-person dungeon crawler with a classic visual, and there is a lot of interest in it, with comments such as 'I can't wait any longer' and 'Please release more information'.
Meanwhile, when asked about the highly anticipated 'Minecraft 2', he drew a line, saying, "I think you should ask Microsoft about that."
