I recommend this for those who have plenty of main storage space (HDD, SSD). I've been playing for about 6 hours since yesterday without any freezes or crashes.
I've searched and tried various solutions, but nothing worked, and I'm not a fan of Vulcan.
I didn't want to revert to 23H2, so I Googled 'DirectX 12 conflict' and found the manual virtual memory setting.
I found a solution.
Here's how:
In the Windows 11 search bar, type 'Advanced System Settings', then click 'System Properties - Advanced - Performance (Settings) - Advanced - Virtual Memory (Change)'.
If multiple drives appear, select the fastest drive among the remaining drives, excluding the drive where PoE is installed.
If you don't know, just select the C drive. Then the available space will appear. After checking the space, select 'Custom Size'.
Initial size (enter your memory capacity) - Maximum size (enter 1.5-2 times).
Example> My example (I put the maximum size as 2x because I have enough space).
Since I have 32GB of RAM,
Initial - 32768, Maximum - 65536
Click OK. Done.
You can easily find virtual memory settings on YouTube as well.
There's also a virtual memory exploration video uploaded 4 years ago.
The phrase in the video seems to include poe2.. haha
Anyway, I hope everyone finds a solution.
#추가 : If you feel burdened by the large manual setting values, ignore your RAM capacity and try setting,
Minimum - 8gb (8192mb) Maximum - 16gb (16384mb), and if it still crashes, try increasing the maximum value by 2gb (2048) and playing poe2.
