Hello. This is Sangkom Electronics.

Following the ESSENCORE KLEVV's tuning RAM BOLT V DDR5-6000 CL30 16Gx2, I've brought the M.2 NVMe SSD from the same cost-effective line.

ESSENCORE KLEVV CRAS C910 M.2 NVMe SSD 1TB

With A/S for 5 years and a heatsink included at this price, it seems like you can use it cheaply without worry.

Now, let's start the review.

ESSENCORE KLEVV CRAS C910 M.2 NVMe SSD 1TB comes standard with a clean black and white design and a 1mm thick heatsink, which is attached with 3M tape.

It uses a DRAM-less Realtek RTS5772DL entry-level controller, but the read speed of 5000MB/s and write speed of 4800MB/s are noticeably high.

The test system is an AMD Ryzen 7 8700G CPU, MSI B650M Mortar WIFI motherboard, and the RAM is ESSENCORE KLEVV BOLT V DDR5-6000 CL30 16Gx2.

Let's take a look at the performance through benchmarks. First, CrystalDiskMark, which shows both read and write speeds.

The Q8T1 and Q32T1 items came out higher than the speed guaranteed by the product at approximately 5200/5000MB/s.

Next is the Nareon Dirty Test.

You can see the performance maintenance status for each storage usage. It maintained its performance up to 63% of the remaining capacity, and after that, it showed a speed of about 600MB/s.

I created several 100MB dummy files up to a total of 10GB and checked the ZIP compression and decompression times.

The right side compares the SATA3 SSD I was using before. You can see that there is a significant performance difference even though it is a product with DRAM.

Next, I used Adobe Media Encoder to check the 4K encoding speed of a 5-minute video.

It finished 12 seconds earlier, but the time difference is large in the final file completion part, and the difference seems to increase as the video gets longer.

Next, I checked the launch speed of the Battlegrounds game.

It entered 4 seconds faster from launch to the lobby screen, and since there is a difference in loading speed like this, I felt that the time I had to wait with my hands off was a waste.

The C910 has one built-in temperature sensor. After checking the maximum temperature while testing so far, I was able to lower the maximum temperature by 4℃ when attaching the heatsink, and reduced it by 18℃ when attaching the motherboard's heatsink as well.

The area near the NAND, which is close to the controller, was measured to have the highest external temperature.

It provides Acronis True Image as a dedicated program. It has a migration function that copies the existing storage device as is.

It is recommended to check the product serial number before installation because it is required, and please note that it is tied to the logged-in account.

So far, I have reviewed the ESSENCORE KLEVV CRAS C910 M.2 NVMe 1TB SSD.

The TLC structure and warranty life of 700TBW are better than QLC products, so it was good to be able to use it cheaply.

Even if it's DRAM-less, these days there are HMB and SLC caching technologies to compensate for lifespan and performance, and it's more than enough for purposes such as installing once and repeatedly reading like a game.

I hope my review has been helpful in choosing a product, and this has been Sangkom Electronics.
