[Info] Obsidian's new RPG Avowed, Meta score 81, OpenCritic score 81
Review scores for Avowed, the new RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment of Fallout: New Vegas and released on PC and Xbox on February 18, have been released.
Metacritic 81
Opencritic 81
IGN 7/10
"Avowed is a perfectly competent RPG that showcases Obsidian's storytelling and world-building prowess, but there's little to differentiate Avowed among sword and sorcerer adventures."
PC Gamer 82/100
"Far bigger than it first appears, Avowed is an exciting and lavish action RPG set in one of the most compelling fantasy worlds around, but it lacks the intricate systems of its most beloved contemporaries."
Eurogamer 8/10
"Avowed makes up for its lack of shiny bits with charm, depth, and a playful heart. One of the most pleasant surprises of the year."
