T1 wins '2025 VALORANT Masters Bangkok'... Records a 'Miracle Run' in VALORANT esports history
A 'miracle run' has been written in the history of Valorant esports.
On March 2, 2025, at the '2025 Valorant Masters Bangkok' finals held at the UOB Live in Bangkok, Thailand, PAC 2nd seed T1 defeated AMER 1st seed G2 to lift the championship trophy. Before the tournament, T1, which was predicted to be in the lower ranks, defeated the overwhelming favorite G2 and a drama of reaching the top was produced.
G2, the opponent in the finals, was considered an overwhelming favorite to win. G2 advanced to Masters Bangkok after winning the Kickoff, and reached the finals with strong performance through the Swiss Stage and Playoffs. On the other hand, T1 was a complete underdog.
