'Monster Hunter' Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto Appointed as Head of Capcom Development on April 1st

Ryozo Tsujimoto, the producer familiar with the Monster Hunter series, will oversee Capcom's game development division.
On the 3rd, Capcom announced the transfer of executives and personnel changes through its official website. Amid the announcement of the retirement and personnel changes of several executives, Ryozo Tsujimoto will be appointed as Capcom's Chief Product Officer (CPO) and head of the development division on April 1st.
Ryozo Tsujimoto is the third son of the Tsujimoto family, who leads Capcom. After joining Capcom in 1996, he has been in charge of planning various games. In particular, he participated in the development from the early 'Monster Hunter', and after being appointed as the producer of 'Monster Hunter Portable 2nd' in 2007, he is considered one of the main players who brought the 'Monster Hunter' series to its current status. In addition, he actively participates in various events and meets with fans, steadily managing loyalty and awareness of the IP. He recently participated in the Monster Hunter Wilds launch 기념 event held at Yongsan I'Park Mall on the 2nd and held a fan signing event.
Thanks to these active activities and performances, Ryozo Tsujimoto has been in charge of managing the development process of major games as the deputy general manager of Capcom's development division in addition to being the producer of the Monster Hunter series.
