The method to unlock the UnderMine's hidden fifth trading company, Darkfuse Brokerage, has finally been discovered!
■ How to Unlock Darkfuse Brokerage
The Darkfuse Brokerage reputation can be unlocked after completing the UnderMine Liberation Front Assault and the campaign quest UnderMine Liberation Front: An Unexpected Reversal. After completing the quest, you can find an excessively sealed letter in the Intercontinental Hotel lobby. Clicking on it will reveal a proposal from someone looking for new business opportunities.
Following this invitation, enter one of the sewers in Hovel Hill to meet Stitch Lowdown, Darkfuse's representative who is looking for a new beginning after Gallywix's death. The way to raise reputation with Darkfuse Brokerage is to collect Market Research Market Research and purchase Darkfuse Junkbox Darkfuse Junkbox to gain 500 reputation. Market Research can be obtained through the following UnderMine activities:
- Normal enemies and sparkling piles of trash: 1 Market Research with a certain probability
- UnderMine normal rare monsters: 1 ~ 2 Market Research
- UnderMine Trading Company rare monsters: 3 ~ 4 Market Research
- UnderMine elite rare monsters: 5 ~ 6 Market Research
- Darkfuse Sediment rare monsters: 12 ~ 14 Market Research
- Salvage Yard activity final reward storage: 14 ~ 16 Market Research
Considering this, the most efficient way to farm this seems to be through Salvage Yard activities, but it doesn't seem bad to steadily defeat rare monsters as you can unlock items that increase the amount of research materials you can obtain instead of weakening your character by raising your reputation.
A total of 84 turn-ins are required to achieve Exalted from Neutral, so a total of 8,400 Market Research must be obtained. This cannot be transferred between combat units.
