Hongbuk's humanization project, a huge success! I tried Trina myself
'Crimson's Relic' Trina, a new Nikke designed with Scarlet parts
Will 'Hongbuk' Scarlet be brought back to Tier 1?
I've used the Trina-Scarlet combo directly in various content.

PvE - Scarlet is definitely stronger, now a really usable card!
#. 'Self-Harm', 'Ammo', 'Reload', 'Accuracy', Trina solves all of Scarlet's shortcomings
Commanders who have been playing Nikke for a long time will know Scarlet's eventful life well. Scarlet was a Tier 0 dealer in the early days of launch that was difficult for any Nikke to replace. However, as new Nikkes were released, she was relegated to a combat power meter, and since then she has completely lost her place in PvE and is called by the unsavory nickname 'Hongbuk'.
In fact, Scarlet's pure firepower itself is not bad. But Scarlet has too many shortcomings. Basically, she is an assault rifle (AR), so there are problems with ammo capacity and accuracy, and the reload time is also long. In addition, she has a 'self-harm' mechanism that consumes HP, making it difficult to maintain health.
That's why many commanders have been hoping for the addition of a 'Relic' with perfect options that can solve Scarlet's shortcomings.

Trina perfectly solves these problems of Scarlet. It greatly improves the health management that is most difficult when using Scarlet. Trina continuously restores health to allies when the full burst time ends and when casting full time, and the lower the health, the more enhanced the recovery effect. This healing mechanism fits perfectly with Scarlet's self-harm and solves a significant portion of Scarlet's problems.
In addition, she also has 'Maximum HP Increase' and 'Attack Damage Increase' options that greatly boost Scarlet's firepower, and improves Scarlet's weaknesses such as 'Accuracy', 'Ammo', and 'Reload'. It is truly the perfect Relic that users wanted.

#. 'Actually, it's really strong' Solo Raid spot reserved!
Scarlet, who has compensated for all her shortcomings with the combination of Trina. When I used it in actual PvE content, I realized its power. The increased ammo capacity, increased accuracy, and increased reload speed buffs are definitely noticeable, and a much more pleasant battle became possible. Various buffs also contributed to the increase in firepower, showing a very powerful appearance.
In particular, she has become so strong that she can be ranked in Tier 1 in single-target boss battles. Trina greatly increases Scarlet's burst skill damage coefficient, and this increase shows higher firepower than combining with Crown. At least 2 or 3 party spots are guaranteed in the electric raid, and if the Nikke pool is insufficient, it can be used in other raids without any problems.

#. Clearly strong and useful. But if you're not a Scarlet fan or a beginner commander, you need to think about it
The Trina-Scarlet combo is definitely strong. It is also very practical, so it will definitely be active in the electric solo raid.
However, if you are a beginner user with an insufficient Nikke pool, you need to consider picking it up. Trina is especially strong when combined with Scarlet, and its value is greatly reduced without Scarlet. Also, although it is a powerful combination, it is true that it still lags behind some of the current Tier 1 Nikkes in some aspects. You should also consider that Trina is a normal Nikke, not a limited Nikke.
And the health recovery part is a bit ambiguous. It only keeps Scarlet barely alive, so the crisis response ability is poor.
But if you're a Scarlet fan, that's a different story. Scarlet combined with Trina is no longer 'Hongbuk'. If you're a Scarlet fan, take it without hesitation.

PvP - Perfect game changer, the entire landscape changes with just one Trina
The Trina-Scarlet combo is good in PvE, but it's not essential. There are definitely combinations that have higher high points and are more stable, and there are also combinations that have good versatility. Therefore, if you are a user who values PvE content, you can consider whether to pick it depending on the situation.
But PvP is different. Trina is a Nikke that is so powerful that it is changing the current PvP meta itself.
Scarlet was an essential pick in PvP even before Trina was released. She has been used because she has reflective damage useful in personal battles and a burst skill with a very high coefficient to enemies. And with the addition of Trina, Scarlet has become even more powerful. Trina grants Scarlet a 2-second invincibility effect immediately after the start of battle, greatly increasing her survivability.
Also, Trina is a clip-type launcher Nikke and boasts the highest level of burst gauge charging speed in the current environment. Trina's value is very high in PvP, where 'how quickly you collect bursts' is key. Thanks to Trina, it has become possible to distribute Nikkes with fast burst charging speed to other parties.
Even if you don't care about PvE, if you are a commander who thinks about PvP, we recommend that you definitely take Trina.
