Mike Morhaime's 'Dreamhaven' to Hold New Game Showcase on the 26th

The Game Awards announced today (22nd) via its official SNS that Dreamhaven will hold a new game showcase on the 26th.

Dreamhaven was established in 2020 and has Secret Door and Moonshot Games as its subsidiary studios. Former Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime is a co-founder, and many star developers from Blizzard are also part of the company.

Mike Morhaime founded Chaos Studios, the predecessor of Blizzard Entertainment, in 1991, and then worked at Blizzard for over 30 years. After leaving Blizzard in 2019, he founded Dreamhaven to create and share new experiences with global players through games.

After its establishment in 2020, Dreamhaven announced the production and release of original games for the global market, but after partnerships with game companies and the publishing of FuzzyBot's 'Linked: Banner of the Spark,' no official news about games has been released. However, in 2023 and 2024, they filed new trademarks related to two types of general video games, Thunder 'Wild Gate' and 'Thunderfolk,' and continued related work, such as seeking a Senior Community Manager to participate in Secret Door Studio's first project.

This Dreamhaven new game showcase will be hosted by Geoff Keighley, who is familiar as the host of The Game Awards, Summer Game Fest, and Gamescom Opening Night Live. CEO Mike Morhaime will appear to talk directly to users about the new game and recent updates. The Dreamhaven Showcase will be held on the The Game Awards Twitch channel on the 26th at 3 AM Korean time.
