SteelSeries Launches 'Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 White' and 'Apex Pro Mini Gen 3' in Korea

SteelSeries, the world's first gaming gear brand (CEO Ehtisham Rabbani), has unveiled two new gaming keyboards: the 'Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 White' and the 'Apex Pro Mini Gen 3'.
Since the launch of the Apex Pro series in 2019, SteelSeries has revolutionized the gaming industry by introducing OmniPoint switches with adjustable actuation points. The Apex series has been well-received by casual gamers and esports professionals alike, solidifying its reputation in the keyboard community. The Apex Pro Gen 3 series, released last year, is designed to provide all users, including gamers and typists, with more precise control, faster switches, and customizable keyboard functions.
The newly released Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 White is a new color configuration of the Apex Pro Gen 3 series, and supports all the main functions of the Apex Pro Gen 3 series, making it the most suitable model for gamers who pursue both work and entertainment.
SteelSeries has released the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 White, following the Aerox 3 Wireless Gaming Mouse, Arctis Gameburz White, and Arctis Nova Gaming Headset series (Nova Pro Wireless, Nova 7 Wireless, Nova 5 Wireless, Nova 1), so that gamers can complete their white-themed gaming setup.
The Apex Pro Gen 3 series, including the Apex Pro TKL Gen 3 White, features OmniPoint 3.0 technology, providing the industry's fastest key switches with a fast response time of 0.54ms and 40 levels of actuation point selection in 0.1mm increments from 0.1mm to 4.0mm.
In terms of durability, premium switch stabilizers that reduce typing wobble by lubricating individual keys and triple sound-absorbing materials are applied to provide smooth sound and key feel. In addition, SteelSeries provides GG QuickSet, armed with new advanced GG software features such as Rapid Tap, Rapid Trigger, and Protection Mode, allowing gamers to access pro-level profiles for each game more quickly.
The features provided by the Apex Pro software are as follows:
- Protection Mode: SteelSeries' unique feature that prevents erroneous input by raising the actuation point of the set key when pressing the surrounding keys of the set key.
- Rapid Tap: A function that prioritizes the last entered key from two selected keys for faster input and aiming. Up to 5 pairs of keys can be paired to increase speed during actions such as counter-strafing, peeking, crunch jumping, and slide canceling.
- Rapid Trigger: A function that eliminates the fixed key release point, allowing the same key to be repeatedly entered by simply lifting a finger without waiting to return. Players don't have to press the button multiple times when they need to spam a button.

SteelSeries also introduced the 'Apex Pro Mini Gen 3', which combines a compact size with the fast speed and smart, powerful performance of the Apex Pro Gen 3 series.
Mini-size keyboards are 60% the size of existing form factors and are one of the fastest-growing keyboard types among esports professionals and casual gamers. The Apex Pro Mini Gen 3 features the latest OmniPoint 3.0 technology in a 60% size that increases desktop space and portability. In addition, it features the premium switch stabilizer and triple sound-absorbing material that are characteristic of the Apex Pro Gen 3 series, and supports SteelSeries GG QuickSet, which provides Rapid Tap, Rapid Trigger, and Protection Mode functions.
In addition, SteelSeries announced that the Rapid Tap function of the Apex Pro series keyboards has been expanded to the Apex 7 and Apex 9 series keyboards.
